*Drug peddler arrested, Contraband He**in recovered by Udhampur Police*

Udhampur

Police Team of Police Post Roundomai led by its IC PP while performing Patrolling/checking duty at Jaganoo-dalphar area intercepted one suspicious person, who on seeing police party tried to escape from the spot but was apprehended by the police party.

On frisking of said apprehended person namely Waseem S/O Abdul Rashid R/O Jakhani, Udhampur. Police team recovered 6.52 grams of He**in like contraband substance from the above said accused person who has been arrested on spot.

In this regard, A Case FIR No. 29/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Udhampur.

*5th Arrest Made by Udhampur Police in Attack on Youth Case at Salathia Chowk (FIR No. 12/2025)*

Date:- 20th January 2025

Udhampur Police have successfully made the 5th arrest in the ongoing investigation into the attack on Sourav Rathore, son of Maan Singh, resident of Omala, Udhampur, which occurred at Salathia Chowk, Udhampur, on 8th January 2025.

The 5th accused namely Shahbaz chandial S/o Mohd Rafiq R/O Rount (Rehmti) Teh and Distt. Udhampur was apprehended by the Udhampur Police team.

Another Arrest Made by Udhampur Police in Attack on Youth Case at Salathia Chowk (FIR No. 12/2025)

Udhampur Police have made another significant arrest in the ongoing investigation into the attack on Sourav Rathore, S/O Maan Singh, R/O Omala, Udhampur, which took place at Salathia Chowk, Udhampur, on 8th January 2025.
The 4th arrested accused namely Arshad Parvaiz S/O Shamim R/O Rount, Gangera, Udhampur was taken into custody following sustained efforts by the Udhampur Police team. This brings the total number of arrests in connection with the case to four further progressing the investigation into this heinous attack.

*Notorious Drug peddler arrested, He**in (Chitta) recovered by Udhampur Police*

Police team of Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while conducting surprise vehicle checking at near Women Degree College Udhampur and a bike bearing registration No. JK14K- 6445 was made to stop for checking purpose, as the bike rider on seeing police team tried to move his bike back in haste which create suspicious.

During frisking of the rider of the bike, Police team recovered 6.09 grams of He**in like substance from him. Accused person namely Adil S/O Mohd. Aslam R/O Lansi, Udhampur has been arrested on spot.

*Vehicle Lifter Arrested, Stolen Bike and Scooty Recovered by Udhampur Police*

On 12.01.2025, a written complaint was lodged by Sunil Singh S/O Padam Dev Singh R/O Barrian, Tehsil and District Udhampur. He reported that he had parked his Bullet bike at Slathia Chowk, outside his shop, but upon returning, he found that his bike had been stolen by unknown thieves.

On this, a case was registered under FIR No. 21/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS at Police Station Udhampur.

In response to the theft, a special team was constituted by SHO PS Udhampur to apprehend the culprits. Acting swiftly, the team gathered information through reliable sources and used technical assistance to identify and arrest the suspect Rohit Atri @ Nittu S/O Romesh Kumar R/O Dalsar, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur.

During sustained questioning, the accused confessed his involvement in the said theft.

On his disclosure, the said stolen Bullet bike and a scooty bearing registration number JK19 A4162, which was also stolen on 29.12.2024 were recovered from his possession.

*Arrest of 3rd Accused in Attack on Youth Case at Salathia Chowk in case FIR 12/2025 of PS Udhampur*

Udhampur Police have successfully arrested the 3rd accused in the attack on Sourav Rathore, S/O Maan Singh, R/O Omala, Udhampur, which occurred at Salathia Chowk, Udhampur, on 8th January 2025.

The arrested individual, Sparsh Bhat, S/O Pintoo Ji Bhat, R/O Suryavanshi Nagar, Muthi Tehsil, District Jammu, was taken into custody after sustained efforts by the team of Udhampur Police.

A FIR No.12/2025 was registered under sections 109/BNS, 4/25 of the Arms Act in connection with the incident.

The first accused Mohd Arif was arrested immediately after the attack and the second accused Imran Chandail S/O Gulzar Ahmed R/O Gangera, Udhampur was apprehended earlier.

With the arrest of Sparsh Bhat, total three accused have now been arrested, marking a significant milestone in the investigation.

Udhampur Police continue their efforts to ensure justice in this case and maintain law and order.

*Second Accused Arrested by Udhampur Police in the Attack on youth Case at Salathia Chowk, Udhampur*

Today, On, 10th January 2025, Police team of PS Udhampur successfully arrested the second accused involved in the attack on Sourav Rathore S/O Maan Singh R/O Omala, Udhampur, which occurred at Salathia Chowk, Udhampur on 8th January 2025.

2nd accused namely Imran Chandail S/O Gulzar Ahmed R/O Gangera, Udhampur was apprehended after sustained efforts Udhampur police.

An FIR (No. 12/2025) had been registered under sections 109/BNS, 4/25 of the Arms Act following the attack. The first accused, Mohd Arif, was arrested immediately after the incident. With the arrest of Imran, the police have made significant progress in the case and continue their efforts to apprehend remaining suspects.

Notorious Narco Smuggler Arrested in Udhampur; He**in Recovered by Udhampur Police

Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by Insp. Raghubir Singh while performing patrolling duty near Housing Colony Udhampur noticed the movement of one suspicious person namely Azhar Chandail S/O Mohd. Rafiq R/O Housing Colony Udhampur who was directed to stop for checking.

On frisking, 7.83 grams of he**in (chitta) like Contraband substance was recovered from his possession and the said accused has been arrested on spot.

On this, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.

It is pertinent to mentioned that the accused was previously detained under the Prevention of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act and was released in February 2024 after completing a one-year detention period under the same act.

*Police arrests accused involved in attack on youth at Salathia chowk Udhampur. Hunt on for other accused.*

Today, on 8th January 2025, an information was received at Police Station Udhampur regarding an attack on Sourav Rathore son of Maan Singh, resident of Omala, Udhampur by unknown persons using sharp-edged weapons at Slathia Chowk, Udhampur.

Acting promptly upon the information, a case FIR No. 12/2025 under sections 109/BNS ( attempt to murder) and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Udhampur and one accused namely Mohd Arif s/o Abdul Qayoom r/o chakkar was arrested instantly while search of other accused individuals is going on and they shall be apprehended shortly. आज दिनांक 29 दिसंबर 2024 को संत निरंकारी सत्संग भवन उधमपुर में सतगुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज की किरपा से एक निशुल्क मेडिकल व आंख चेक अप कैंप का आयोजन एसोसिएटेड अस्पताल सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज उधमपुर के सहयोग से हुआ।

जैसा कि सभी को विदित है कि संत निरंकारी मिशन सतगुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज के सानिध्य में आध्यामिक जागृति के साथ साथ समाज सेवा के लिए हमेशा तत्पर रहता है।इसी श्रृंखला में यह मेडिकल कैंप डॉ विनोद खजूरिया,डॉ सतीश रैना,डॉ सौरवदीप व सहयोगी की निगरानी में लगाया गया,इस कैंप का उद्घाटन श्री पवन कुमार गुप्ता (MLA Udhampur West) ने किया। और उन्होंने इस अवसर पर संत निरंकारी मिशन की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि आध्यात्मिक शिक्षा के साथ साथ अच्छा स्वास्थ्य भी अनिवार्य है,इसलिए यह एक समाज सेवा में संत निरंकारी मिशन का एक सराहनीय कदम है।यह कैंप सुबह 11 बजे से ले कर 2:30 बजे तक चला।जिसमे लगभग 288 बहन भाइयों से अपना स्वास्थ्य व आंखों की जांच करवाई ,और फ्री दवाइयां भी प्राप्त की।
स्वास्थ्य चेक अप कैंप के साथ साथ सत्संग भी 10:30 बजे से ले कर 1:00 बजे तक चला।जिसमें सतगुरु का शुक्राना करते हुए भक्तों ने सत्संग में कहा कि स्वस्थ शरीर के लिए स्वस्थ मन का होना अनिवार्य है। मन स्वास्थ ब्रह्मज्ञान से होता है।इसलिए ब्रह्मज्ञान को आधार बना कर अगर जीवन जीया जाएगा तो शरीर भी स्वस्थ रहेगा
आगे उन्होंने बताया कि सतगुरु की शिक्षा को धारण कर जीवन जीया जाए और वहीं जीवन सतगुरु को रिझा सकता है।

*03 MORE DRUG PEDDLERS BEHIND THE BAR, 05 GRAMS OF HE**IN RECOVERED BY UDHAMPUR POLICE*

Police team from Police Station Majalta led by its SHO while performing vehicle checking at Dhar road, Majalta stopped one vehicle bearing regd. No. JK02AH 2343 for checking purpose.

On frisking of driver as well as passengers of the vehicle, Police team recovered 05 grams of he**in like substance from the 03 narco smugglers who were travelling in the said car. All the 03 accused persons have been arrested on spot.

The arrested persons were identified as :-

*(1) Aman singh S/O Roop Singh R/O Katheel Dangu Tehsil Majalta*

*(2) Birdev Singh S/O Pawan Dev Singh R/o Village Naali Peoni Tehsil Majalta*

*(3) Mohd. Saim S/o Mohd. Sirajul R/o ward No. 7 Khaira Araria, Khagra Tehsil Narpat Ganj, Distt Araria State Bihar A/P Dhemma, Majalta*
