Subject: Vehemently objection for the proposed purchase and Land acquisition of plot of land,under Rongalgre A•king for establishment of Border Security Force, Head Quarter.
Respected Sir,
In inviting letter and reference to the subject cited above,we the under signitories the Bolwari clans and the citizens of Rongalgre A•king Land, do hearby most respectfully your honour to bring your kind knowledge of the followings for your optimistic action.
Sir,we have been observed that there was a proposal for the purchase and acquisition of land purchased as referred to above. The A•king Nokma herself willing to sell off 322 bighas, Rongalgre Bolwari clans land to Border Security Force (BSF), without any consulting with the Bolwari Clans and the citizens of Rongalgre. The proposal land was acquisition on the side by National Highway 44E, under the East Garo Hills District, Meghalaya.
On 8th of August 2021,Shri Donkupar Sumer had come and made discussion with the people of Rongalgre,and even thou he himself is not agreed with us.
In view of the above,we strongly opposed the idea of the proposal said and in case,the Nokma goes ahead defying against the sentiments o the people of Rongalgre,this shall definitely invite action as waging war or deem fit from the genaral mass and this may even extend to the mass condemnation and other follow-up action.
Therefore,we earnestly pray that necessary action as for preventing such proposal from your end may kind be done and for which act of your kindness shall remain always .
