" Mara Panna "( മര പന്ന) is the local name of this plant in Malayalam. Unlike other plants this bread is mostly found on wet surfaces like on a tree or on a wet wall. It stores sufficient water during mansoon on the black root like part and during summer leaves get dried and withers away. But still the black root like part sticks to the parent and absorbs every drop of it and again grows in the mansoon. Anyone can relate its life cycle to anything around us. The happiness and sad, odds of life or to mood swings. I found it interesting when I heard its story from local people . Truly, Nature is beautiful and many beautiful things happens around, we just need to see. On a final note, If any of you know its scientific name please do share with me.

📍 Vagamon Paragliding Spot.
It is the only paragliding spot in Kerala AFAIK. It is situated near to Vagamon su***de spot, Kolahalamedu.You can ride your vehicle to the top of the hill after paying a small entry fee of 20₹ at the gate. Paragliding starts at 10.30am depending upon the weather conditions and is charged 3500₹ for a total duration of 20 min flight. One of their experienced operator will first fly off from the hill top and communicate with the base about the weather conditions to ensure the safety.
