Road safety refers to the measures which must be adopted by everyone while using roads. These safety methods are meant for reducing the risk of accidents and injuries or causalities on the road. These rules must be followed by all users of roads including pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and bus and truck drivers.

The Road Safety Week celebrations is initiated by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways with an aim to raise public awareness about traffic rules and ultimately reduce casualties due to road accidents. Every year the Ministry of Road transport and Highways, Govt of India observe Road Safety Week Campaign. This year from 11th to 17th January 2023 National Road Safety Week is celebrated in India, to create awareness about road safety and minimise road accidents thereby save lives. In this program, all the Charitable Organisations, Non- Government Organisations, and Private firms across the country join hand to hand with the government to provide logistic support to the Road Safety measurements.

Keeping our road safe is not a difficult task. Imagine if everyone follows simple safety measures and traffic rules, everyone on roads are safe.

The National Education Day is celebrated every year on November 11, as it marks the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, who was India’s first education minister after independence. The Ministry of Human Resource Development sets a different theme for National Education Day every year. The theme of this year is "Changing Course, Transforming Education." The theme of this year indicates there is a need for reforming the education system and making it adaptable to the current times.
