Drug De-Addiction Awareness Program Organized by Angel's Cultural Academy in Collaboration with J&K Excise Department and JKAACL
Tagore Hall, Srinagar, January 2, 2025: Angel's Cultural Academy, in collaboration with the J&K Excise Department (Excise Range Central Kashmir) and the Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (JKAACL), successfully organized a Drug De-Addiction Awareness Program at Tagore Hall, Srinagar. The event, themed "Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan & Drug-Free Environment," aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and encourage a healthier, addiction-free society.

The program featured enthusiastic participation from students of various schools and colleges in debate and drawing competitions. A poignant drama skit performed by the artists of Angel's Cultural Academy depicted the perils of drug addiction, leaving a profound impact on the audience. Sheikh Sabzar’s Ladisha on drug abuse was another highlight that resonated deeply with the attendees, drawing rounds of applause. The event was skillfully anchored by Faheem ul Islam.

Tangdar Karnah : A Social Media Campaign on Road Safety Raises Awareness About Winter Travel Risks
A felicitation ceremony for the participants of the Road Safety Campaign was held on January 4, 2025, at Shakti Vijay Brigade, Tangdhar. The ceremony recognized the efforts of 28 students who actively participated in the concerted social media outreach campaign held from December 25, 2024, to January 3, 2025.
The campaign focused on sensitizing the local population about the challenges and dangerous consequences of unregulated movement across Nastachun Pass, particularly during the winter season. The students produced insightful and emotive videos on road safety measures, urging travelers to exercise caution and care while crossing the Pass in harsh winter conditions. The videos gained massive traction and reach on social media platforms, significantly contributing to the spread of awareness.
The Commander of Shakti Vijay Brigade commended the students for their creativity and wholehearted participation in the road safety campaign. He expressed appreciation for the students' efforts in raising awareness about the critical importance of safe travel during the winter months and the perils associated with ignoring safety guidelines.
The ceremony not only recognized the students' contributions but also underscored the importance of community-driven initiatives in ensuring the safety and well-being of travelers during the challenging winter season. The event concluded with certificates of appreciation being presented to the participants in recognition of their valuable contributions to the campaign.
