*Son allegedly kills Mother in Rafiabad Sopore, accused held*

Srinagar, Apr 15 : An elderly woman was allegedly killed by her son in Rafiabad area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

An official told that a lady (name withheld) aged 48 years old resident of Hadipora Sopore was allegedly attacked by her son with knife and injured her critically, how'ver she was immediately taken to Sub-district hospital Sopore where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

The official further said that soon after the incident police reached the spot and arrested the accused son involved in the crime.

He identified the accused as Amir Farooq Wani.

The official further said a case in this regard bearing FIR number 28/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been set into motion.

He said weapons of offence has also been seized from the spot.

Today, April 8, the Valley's renowned socio-cultural organization Shahr e Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society in Collaboration With Angel's Cultural Academy & Milad Educational Institute organised a one-day Grand Seerat e Nabi(SAW) & Ramadhan ul Mubarak Mehfil at Milad Educational Institute Shaheed Ganj.The event was held and was attended by number of interested students.It was was also attended by some of the valley's most honored personalities and numerous visitors.Khawaja Farooq Renzu Shah,G.N War, Moulana Nisar Ahmad Palpori, Hilal Ahmad Din, Mehraj ud din faraz,Umar Farooq Bhat,Hashir Afnan,Mehjabeen Gousia & Firdous Ahmad Jaloo were the Special guests on the occasion.Zahoor Ahmad Masoodi & Mohammad Amin jaloo were the jury on the occasion.This program was hosted by Sheikh Anwar ul Hak & Sameer & Shah.The beautiful recitation of Naat reflected the audience, and each voice of Naat Khawan was felt deeper within the heart, enough to soothe the soul.Various Students emphasised & briefed on Seerat un Nabi(SAW) & Ramdhan ul Mubarak. Srinagar// On 27 March 2024,District Police Srinagar organised a one day programme on substantial abuse at Batamaloo Srinagar in which many artists had come and performed on the stage.Angel's Cultural Academy was also invited there on this occasion which presented a drama ,ladishah & kashmiri poem on drugs which was full of awareness and carrying fruitful message to the masses.Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera the President of Angel's Cultural Academy was also present there who too showed his presence, physical as well as mental and uttered some priceless words on stage that how we should save the future of our youth and what measures to be taken to bring them back to the right path at earliest.

A huge gathering of people mostly locals living nearby and other different areas, could be seen there who had reached in morning before the programme was about to start.They hailed the artists and speakers especially Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera.

At the conclusion of the programme the certificate of honour was presented to Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera & his team from SHO Batamaloo, who thanked Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera for being there and also appreciated the performance of his team Angel's Cultural Academy.
