Yellow Journalism Needs to End – Strong Denial of False Allegations and Urgent Call for Investigation*

Srinagar, November 17, 2024 – Sheikh Mohammed Imran categorically rejects the baseless allegations regarding a purported nocturnal IT raid on his residence on November 16, 2024. These allegations are outright fabrications and a glaring example of yellow journalism. No such raid took place, and these claims are entirely unfounded and lack any factual basis.

He further stated, It is deeply concerning that a particular media outlet, in collaboration with a journalist of questionable repute—both known for their ties to JKNC, BJP and alleged affiliations with various agencies—are propagating false narratives with the intention of maligning my reputation.

Sheikh Imran emphasized, Let me be clear: I will not be silenced or intimidated for speaking out on behalf of my people. I will continue to be vocal and stand firm in my resolve to uphold the truth.

He added, The credibility of these individuals given their documented history of publishing and retracting falsehoods is highly dubious and suspect. Furthermore I raise serious concerns regarding the allocation of government accommodations to these figures, who operate controversial and notorious social media accounts from these premises. This raises significant questions about transparency and accountability in journalism.

Sheikh Imran respectfully urged the Jammu & Kashmir Police to immediately investigate these misleading and deceptive reports and take appropriate action.

He concluded, No one is above the law. My lawyer will be serving a formal notice to these media figures, followed by a defamation suit. I am unwavering in my commitment to protect my integrity and will pursue this matter relentlessly to its rightful conclusion.

Despite multiple assurances from to halt the illegal construction at Khawajbazar, Nowhatta, new RCC pillars continue to rise with a concrete slab laid just last night—under whose patronage?

The concerned police had also assured on behalf of the notorious culprit that no further construction would take place. Yet-how can an infamous and notorious violator defy all authorities? Meanwhile the Chief Enforcement Officer is conveniently on an extended international vacation.

Even though SMC officials were suspended and transferred but was it merely a smokescreen to allow these illegalities and corruption to persist unchecked?
Clearly, money speaks louder than the rules and regulations.

The site is only approved for minor repairs, yet full-scale RCC construction for commercial use is blatantly being allowed by in clear violation of the master plan and laws. Clearly, bribes and money speak louder than regulations.

Surprise, surprise—The demolition team was deliberately delayed for hours at the SMC Ward office, only to be abruptly pulled back when the culprit threatened to expose officials who had allegedly pocketed ₹20 lakhs. The situation took a darker turn as negotiations revealed that the bribe demand had escalated to ₹30 lakhs. This is corruption at its absolute worst.

I will be bringing the media to the site of this illegal construction to hold SMC officials—including the Chief Enforcement Officer, Ward Officer and other officials—accountable and expose the deep-rooted corruption at play with concrete proof (both on-site and digital exchanges between the culprits, SMC officials and brokers).

Can someone decode the mystery of R&B’s radio silence? Or is it because their “special adjustment fee” is a flat ₹5 lakhs? Wah, what a fixed rate - of bribery.
Let’s not kid ourselves—this isn’t rocket science. From the supervisor to the JE, AEE and right up to the Exen, everyone’s suddenly got selective amnesia and playing dumb. But hey, why wouldn’t they? Their hafta is as halal as it gets.

The police will be notified about the visit to ensure the safety. We will have to ensure a media trail to hold fully accountable.

Despite the owner’s notorious reputation in the “stone crusher business” and his claimed connections with both JKNC and BJP, I am committed to ensuring that no one is above the law. This issue transcends politics; it is about addressing corruption, defiance, and blatant violations of the Master Plan. I will leave no stone unturned to uphold accountability.

Corruption is not just an issue here; it’s a deeply ingrained business model that must be dismantled.

PS:- The culprit also boasts and threatens about his connections with local politicians and concerned police officials. Confidential proof will also be shared with top police officials revealing how the police party failed to enforce the support requested by SMC raising serious concerns about possible leniency towards the culprit.

Safa Marwah Hospital Organizes Diabetic Awareness Rally on World Diabetes Day

Srinagar November 14 – In recognition of World Diabetes Day, Safa Marwah Hospital organized a Diabetic Awareness Rally aimed at raising awareness about diabetes prevention and management. The event was flagged off by DSP Hazratbal Mr. Ashiq Hussain, along with Head of Safa Marwah Hospital, Dr. Nazira, renowned environmentalist Dr. Touseef Bhat, and prominent social worker Syed Aijaz kashani, Dr farooq ahmad bhat chairman Safa Marwah Hospital, Dr Arif kashani, Management Head Of Hospital Mr, Khawar M***i. Dr Muzafar zargar, Dr basharat jeelani and Dr gulnar m***i Diabotolgist also participated.
