'Laapaata Ladies' is a heartwarming and delightful film directed by Kiran Rao, streaming on Netflix. The film explores the layers of patriarchy present in every part of society, but it does so in an interesting and humorous way. The story begins with the chaos caused by Deepak when he accidentally swaps his traditionally veiled wife, Phool Kumari, with another bride named Jaya.

As the movie progresses, it delves deeper into the stories of two women and their journey of self-discovery. Jaya, on the one hand, is bound by social and traditional norms, yet she does everything possible to fulfil her dreams. Phool Kumari, on the other hand, is raised with traditional values but eventually discovers her own identity and finds a purpose in life beyond just being a wife.

Each of the characters stands out with their impressive acting skills in the movie. However, among the characters, Manju Maai stands out as a personal favourite. She demonstrates that being a strong woman does not always require a high level of education or a high-paying job. Instead, what it takes is the drive to be self-reliant and the determination to secure equal opportunities and standing in society. Manju Maai epitomizes the essence of self-independence. 🌸🌸

Another beautiful aspect of the film is its challenge to societal assumptions about people from certain social classes. It reminds us that the belief that people from lower social classes are often not good enough or inherently evil is a misconception. In reality, these individuals can be incredibly helpful and generous without expecting anything in return. 🤍🤍

Lastly, Deepak's love for Phool is beautifully portrayed in the film. Despite facing taunts from society and friends, he never stops looking for his wife. His devotion to Phool is simple yet pure, demonstrating that love can overcome societal pressure and prejudice. ❤️❤️

বহুদিন পর একটা ভালো রোমান্টিক মুভি দেখলাম। যে সিনেমাতে মাখোমাখো প্রেম নেই।
আসলে মানুষের জীবনে প্রেম, বিরহ, প্রেমে লেগে থাকা, Soo Called Bestie যেমন ভাবে থাকে এটা ঠিক তেমনি।
"Hridayam" এর পর মালয়ালম ইন্ডাস্ট্রির আরো একটা সুন্দর মিষ্টি রোমান্টিক কমেডি মুভি "Premalu".
এই সিনেমাটা দেখার পর আপনার মুখে কখন একটা মিষ্টি হাসি চলে আসবে বুঝতে পারবেন না।

কলেজ পড়ুয়া একটি ছেলে, যার জীবনে ঠিকঠাক করে প্রেমটা আসেনি। এক তরফা ছিল প্রতিটা। কলেজ শেষ করার পর সে চায় UK গিয়ে জব করতে। কিন্তু ভিসা রিজেক্ট হওয়ার পর সে তার জীবনের কোনো উদ্দেশ্য খুঁজে পাচ্ছে না, মোটামুটি ভাবে সে চায় এই শহর থেকে বাইরে যেতে। তখন হঠাৎ দেখা হয় তার ছোট বেলার বন্ধুর সাথে, বন্ধুর পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী সে তার সাথে গেট এক্সামের প্রস্তুতি নেওয়ার জন্যে শহরে যায়। কিন্তু পড়াশুনায় তার মন নেই। এমনই অবস্থায় তার সাথে দেখা হয় একটি মেয়ের। এর পর আসল গল্প শুরু।

এই সিনেমার ভিতর আহামরি তেমন কোনো গল্প নেই, এই গল্প হয়তো আপনার, আমার জীবনের গল্প। কিন্তু এত মিষ্টি ভাবে উপস্থাপন করেছে সেটা অসাধারন।
একটি ছেলের সাথে একটি মেয়ের দেখা হলো, ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড মিউজিক বাজলো প্রেম হয়ে গেল, এমন নয়! খুব সুন্দর ভাবে বাস্তবতার সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে সিনেমাটা দারুন ফুটিয়েছে।
এন্ডিংটা আরেকটু সময় নিলে ভালো হতো হয়তো, মানুষ শেষ পাতের দইটা একটু সময় নিয়েই খেতে চায়।

এই সিনেমার BGM, সিনেমাটোগ্রাফি, লোকেশন, অসাধারন। কারোর রোমান্টিক মুভি ভালো লাগলে তারা অবশ্যই দেখতে পারেন এই সিনেমাটা।

না দেখে তাহলে দেখে ফেলুন, হটস্টারে পেয়ে যাবেন, হিন্দিতে ডাবিং আছে। আর দেখা হয়ে গেলে অবশ্যই জানাবেন কেমন লাগলো আপনাদের।

আজ মানুষ অনুভব করছে খুব গরম, কিন্তু কতোদিন তারা AC এর সাহায্য নেবে, আজ পুরো ভারতবর্ষে 500 কোটি গাছের প্রয়োজন। এটা তো সবে শুরু 45°C থেকে 49°C থেকে 55°C থেকে 60°C হতে বেশি সময় লাগবে না।
56°C হলে মানুষের বাঁচা মুশকিল হবে। আমাদের এখন থেকে চারা গাছ রোপন করতে হবে; কারন একটি গাছ মোটামুটি বড়ো হতে পাঁচ থেকে সাত 'বছর সময় লাগে✅

এখন বৃষ্টি আসতে চলেছে, অবশ্যই দুটি গাছ লাগাবেন সরকারের উপর সব ছেড়ে দেবেন না।

⭕ দয়া করে এই বিজ্ঞপ্তি আরো দুই জনকে পাঠান যাতে বার্তাটি বাড়তে থাকে, গাছই জীবন🙏

অপু-দুর্গা বললেই বাঙালি মন চলে যায় কাশবন পেরোনো রেললাইন দেখার দৃশ্যে- দুর্গা অর্থাৎ উমা দাশগুপ্ত (সেন) আজীবন নাটকের সঙ্গে জুড়ে ছিলেন। সর্বজয়ার (করুণা বন্দোপাধ্যায়) মুখের সঙ্গে অদ্ভুত মিল দুর্গার- সিনেমায় অভিনয় করার ক্ষেত্রে উমা দেবীর বাড়ির মতামত ছিল না ঠিকই, কিন্তু পরিচালক যখন সত্যজিৎ রায় তখন তো রাজি হতেই হবে। ওই একটি ছবির জন্যই তিনি আজও সারা পৃথিবীর কাছে পরিচিত। অপু-দুর্গার নস্টালজিয়ায় তিনি আছেন আজও-- এই জুটিকে বাঙালী কোনোদিন ভুলতে পারবে না।

When you say Apu-Durga, the Bengali mind goes to the scene of seeing the railway lines. Uma Dasgupta (Sen) was associated with the drama for a lifetime. Uncanny resemblance to Sarvajaya's (Karuna Bandyopadhyay) face with Durga - Uma Devi's house did not really have the opinion of acting in the movie, but when the director Satyajit Roy, they had to agree. She is still known to the whole world for that one film. She is still nostalgic for Apu-Durga- Bengalis will never forget this pair.

অভিনীত সিনেমার পর্দায় এর "র‌্যানচো" বা "ফুনসুখ ওয়াংডু" কে সবার ভালো লাগলেও আসল জীবনের সেই ব্যক্তিত্ব যার নাম "সোনাম ওয়াংচুক" তাকে হয়তো কারও ভালো লাগে না।
তাইতো "Save Climate,Save Glacier" ও "Autonomy" নিয়ে তার যে ২১ দিনের অনশন লাদাখে চলছে তা যেমন বেশিরভাগ মিডিয়া হাউস দেখাচ্ছে না তেমনই এই সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার "সো কলড" বোদ্ধারাও সেই নিয়ে মৌন ব্রত ধারণ করে আছে।

সত্যি সেলুকাস কি বিচিত্র এই দেশ 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
