There is a big statue of Hanumanji here, which is creating hindrance in widening the road. Due to this, the contractor there used three JCBs to remove the statue, which broke, but the statue did not move. There has been an uproar over an attempt to demolish a 130 year old Hanumanji temple. In three days, many other machines including three JCB machines broke down.But the temple was not destroyed. On Saturday, dozens of villagers including Hindu Yuva Vahini burnt the effigy of the GM of Era Company and demanded to keep the temple in its original condition. People said that if the temple was demolished there would be a big movement. SDM Satyashri Singh said that the matter has been brought to the notice of DM. After the meeting it will be decided what to do with the temple. For your information, let us tell you that this case pertains to Kachiani Kheda temple of National Highway-24 of Tilhar police station.The statues of Baram Dev and Bajrangbali were established here 130 years ago, but due to road widening, Era Company wants to remove it. Removing the giant statue of Bajrangbali for the last three days is proving costly for the company. The villagers say that instead of removing the statue of Bajrangbali, it should be left in the middle of the divider.
