💸 According to sources, an unidentified individual robbed the State Bank of India branch located at Jiribam Municipality Shopping Complex in Babupara. The robbery took place on 21 May at around 1 am, and the robber managed to steal Rs 30,500 in small denominations of Rs 5 and Rs 10 notes. Additionally, it has been reported that the robber damaged one of the CCTV cameras installed on the premises.

🔥 Breaking News: Fire Incident in Shillongpatty, Silchar 🚒
Earlier today, a fire broke out at approximately 11:30 am in a building in Shillongpatty, Silchar. The building houses banks, financial institutions, and a computer institute where students were attending their classes.
In a panic, the students found themselves trapped on the rooftop with no way to escape. Sadly, one girl student fell from the rooftop and has been immediately rushed to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
The authorities swiftly responded to the emergency, with around 8 fire tenders, along with the Fire Brigade, SDRF and ONGC, working tirelessly to bring the situation under control.
Cachar SP Numal Mahatta has arrived at the scene to assess the situation and ensure the safety of everyone involved. The fire has been extinguished, and the cooling operation is currently in progress.

Manipuri community of Joypur Cachar mourned the loss of RK Malemsana, a bright student of class vii, Athokpam Kirti Singha ME school, who tragically drowned in the Chiri river on 9th May. Yesterday, the village came together to bid farewell to the young soul during a solemn death ritual held in her honor.
The procession, organized by the Joypur Development Committee, saw the participation of students, teachers, and staff members from Athokpam Kirti Singha ME school and No1024 Joipur Manipuri LP school. The local community also joined in to pay their respects and offer support to the grieving family.
During the shradha karma, the headmaster of Athokpam Kirti Singha ME school, Athokpam Iboton, delivered a heartfelt obituary, reflecting on the bright future that was abruptly cut short.
