Newly formed organisation Sanatani Oikya Mancha, an association that brought together various right-wing and #Sanatani organisations held a rally across the Silchar town on Saturday night.
Monks of various Maths across Silchar participated in the rally along with Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty.
The rally voiced against the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari in Bangladesh and demanded his release.
The "Chalo Bangladesh" rally will conclude today at the Sutarkandi Land Border at 11.30 AM. 1 lakh Sanatanis are supposed to gather at the international border.

At least six ambulances stuck for more than an hour as traffic jam disrupts medical road. The jam starts when the divider ends near the Flour Mill in Beltola and from there till the stretch if Durgapally, the charisma of chaos prevails bringing lives of critical patients being stretchered to the hospital under immense risk. While narrowing of roads is the primary reason, irregular parking, irresponsible driving taking lane discipline for a toss and lack or complete absence of traffic law enforcement officials are the main reasons bringing the emergency road to a standstill.
