Oh, life... Ridge Shimla after the rain!
Sharing some based upon an understanding of the society in recent difficult times during Wuhan coronavirus:-

Maya Angelou once wrote some very wise words and I quote verbatim, "You are the total of everything you’ve ever seen, heard, eaten, smelled, been told, forgot - it’s all there. Everything influences each of us, and because of that I try to make sure that my experiences are positive."

This made me conclude that we have to accept that sometimes that’s how things happen in this world. People’s opinions, their feelings, they go one way, then the other. It just so happens you grew up at a certain point in this process. Have seen many people calling names who don't agree with them or have a different viewpoint. During this Chinese Coronavirus pandemic, we should have been united. We must have always shown kindness and love to others. Remember that your words might be filling the empty places in someone’s heart. Because everyone is suffering in one way or the other. Stay wise, stay blessed!

𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥'𝐬 𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 - 𝐥 (Photo-1): 𝗝𝗮𝗸h𝘂 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 at 8,050 ft. above sea level is highest point of Shimla.

𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻'𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗲 standing tall over the city with 108ft height is 10 ft taller than the famous "Christ the Redeemer statue" in Rio de Janeirio.

Jakhoo ropeway building is the 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 of the Shimla city with 13 floors and 150 ft approx which is way more than the 5-6 story permissible limit of the Town Planning hence easily visible in the skyline of the city.

Despite being a Hillstation and having population of merely 1.7 Lakhs (Census 2011) which is predicted to be nearly 2.3 lakhs in 2021, Shimla is massive construction powerhouse as compare to a million plus population city of the plains.

There are 187 buildings with six or higher story including 10 with more than 9 storied. (High Court being one)

The Town and Country Planning regulations allows upto 5 floors, with a certain F. A.R allowance and public Interests it can be altered.

Being ecologically sensitive and seismically variable several responsibilities lies on the future development. Already 83 percent of the buildings in Shimla are highly prone to a major earthquake.

Say it a way of development or Haphazard, it varies.

The Mall Road in Shimla, located in the heart of the town, is the main street that is lined up with a myriad of restaurants, clubs, banks, shops, post offices and tourist offices. At the same time, the place boasts of the other exciting attractions that it houses, such as the Scandal Point and Kali Bari Temple. One of the busiest and more commercial areas of Shimla till date, this stretch is a mini-world in itself. The Shimla Mall Road is the one stretch, that truly celebrates the spirit of the hilltown, its tourist rush and valleys and hills covered with houses and hotels. The charm and beauty of the Mall Road can be enjoyed by groups of friends, families and honeymooners alike.

The stores that are located on the Mall Road are famous for their woollen clothes and exclusively handcrafted works, apart from the usual books and jewellery. The wooden furniture shops are particularly well-known; so do not forget to buy some exquisite wooden articles, which look like antiques, when you shop from here. Other than shopping, Shimla Mall Road is also famous for its variety of cafes and the delicious delicacies that they serve. In fact, people here are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a place to have a meal at.
