: Five Muslim youth who were Injured during the clash has been arrested by the police on charges of rioting in Chengicherla.

Tensions continued for the sixth day at Chengicherla Village of Medipally after BJP MP tried to enter the village and meet the locals following a clash between Hindu and Muslim groups a day before Holi.

A case has been registered against Bandi Sanjay by Police for obstructing police duties.

Case filed against BRS leader and KCR’s nephew Joginapally Santosh Kumar over trespassing land and forgery.

However he released a statement and terms that this case is registered with political malice only.

He declared about this property in his election affidavit too.

His press statement -

904 square yards house land situated in survey number 129/54 in Sheikh Peta I have legally purchased from a person named Shyamsunder (father PV Hanmantha Rao) in 2016 (Sale Deed No. 5917/2016. 11 November 2016).

I paid ₹3 crores 81 lakhs 50 thousand and bought it through sale deed under the authority of registration department. So the word forgery does not apply. That is not true. No litigation has arisen for eight years. No one contacted me.

Shyamsunder who sold me the house plot purchased the land in 1992 vide Sale Deed No. 1888/1992. He made it clear to me that there are no legal disputes since then. That means there has been no litigation on that land for almost 32 years.

No construction was done on that land after I bought it.

If there are any legal issues then please give me legal notice first. Ask for an explanation. But without anything like that, they directly complained to the police station that forgery was done.

Police and media claim that the area of the disputed house is 1350 yards. But note that what I have bought is 904 yards of house land.

People are creating misconceptions by making unnecessary accusations on the property that I bought. I am not guilty of any possessions. Anyone can inquire about the land I bought. I have no objection. I am ready to face legal action.

It is easy to understand why a 32-year-old controversy has come to the fore anew. It will not be tolerated if a political party tries to mudsling at our party and me. I will take legal action against those who make false accusations and seek to harm personal reputation.

In a harrowing incident, a group of men heckled a family and forcibly threw colours at them ahead of celebration in city of district in .

In the video, the men can been seen surrounding the Muslim family that included two women and a man on their way on a bike. The men forcibly coloured them and threw water at them under the pretext of playing Holi. The family, visibly uncomfortable with the act, is seen resisting by hiding their faces and saving themselves. However, when they question the men for colouring them, the group raised religious slogans including ' ' and ' '.

The police said that Dhampur Area Officer has been directed to investigate and take necessary action.

Superintendent of Police, Bijnor district, said that authorities are trying to identify the culprits in the video. Dhampur circle officer has also been directed to talk to the victims and launch necessary investigation.

on 17.03.2024 while he was at his tailor shop at his residence at 2100 hours a quarrel was going on next to his house when he went there and two persons hit him on the head with beer bottles from the top of the building. Due to which he received injury on his head, immediately his family members shifted him to Gandhi hospital and there he got treated with six stitches to his head. After that he came to know that their names are Nikhil Francis and Tarun.

As per the contents of the above complaint, a case was registered in Cr.
No. 161/2024, U/Sec. 307 r/w 34 IPC and investigated into.
Today they were apprehended and sent to jail.
