this productivity hack is called "Pomodoro
Technique".

In short, you work for 25-minutes and then take a
5-minute break.

Within those 25-minutes you develop a sense of
urgency which gives you hyper-focus

That hyper-focus helps get things done in less time
than usual.

A personal transformation plan is a set of strategies and goals to improve yourself in your personal and professional life. Here are some tips for creating a personal transformation plan: 

Define your goals: Set clear, realistic goals and give them a timeline. 

Create an action plan: Use the SMART goal-setting method to develop an action plan. 

Identify areas for improvement: Perform a self-assessment to identify areas that need work. 

Practice positive mindset: Reframe failures as learning opportunities, and surround yourself with positive influences. 

Be willing to be uncomfortable: Accept that change is uncomfortable, and step into new environments and meet new people. 

Take action: Put your plan into action, and do more of what makes you happy. 

Some other strategies for personal transformation include: 

Learning something new

Tapping into your network

Making lifestyle changes

Abolishing bad habits

Choosing the right people to spend time with

Adopting a more positive approach to life

Practicing thinking bigger

As my family and I enjoyed a lovely New Year's Eve lunch at a bustling restaurant today, it struck me how vibrant and cheerful everything seemed for the guests—and how hard the employees were working to make it so. While we celebrated with our loved ones, they served with unwavering dedication, missing the opportunity to be with their own families on such a meaningful day.

This scenario isn’t unique to New Year’s Eve. For those in the hospitality industry, holidays, weekends, and celebratory occasions often mean more work rather than celebration. The pressure of long hours, emotional labor, and personal sacrifices can weigh heavily, contributing to high attrition rates in an industry that thrives on people’s passion and commitment.

So, how can we help reduce attrition while addressing the challenges these professionals face, particularly during these celebratory moments?

Today was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices hospitality employees make to bring joy to others. As leaders, colleagues, and patrons, it’s our responsibility to ensure their work environment not only demands excellence but rewards and supports it too.

Here’s to a 2025 where the people at the heart of hospitality feel celebrated, supported, and valued just as much as their guests do.

A few years ago, I was juggling a million things—work, personal goals, and a never-ending to-do list. No matter how much I planned, it always felt like I was racing against the clock. There was never enough time for everything.

One evening, I hit a breaking point. I realized I was mentally drained, and yet, I hadn’t even made a dent in the things I really cared about. That night, I decided to stop and reevaluate my approach. I knew I needed more than just better time management; I needed to align my mind with my time.

So, I started researching, experimenting, and most importantly—listening to my own mind. Slowly, I began crafting strategies that helped me reclaim my focus, prioritize what mattered, and, most importantly, enjoy my time again. That’s when I realized this could help others, too.

This book Mind Management by Time Management is a culmination of that journey. It’s for anyone who feels overwhelmed and underproductive. It's for anyone who needs to learn how to sync their mind with their time to create a life that flows with intention.

📖 The Journey Behind the Words
Writing Mind Management by Time Management wasn’t just about putting words on paper—it was about discovering the rhythm between mind and time. It started with an idea that kept me awake at night. I knew I had something valuable to share, but it took months of fine-tuning to find the right words to convey it.

In the early days, I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of content I wanted to include. My desk was cluttered with notes, scribbles, and outlines that seemed to go in every direction. But every time I hit a block, I’d step away for a walk, clear my head, and soon the path would reveal itself.

Editing was a whole new adventure. What I thought was a clear message often needed restructuring. I had to cut unnecessary sentences, tweak transitions, and refine ideas until everything flowed smoothly. But with each edit, the book became more focused—and I could feel it becoming something that would truly help others.

It wasn’t easy. There were days of doubt, and times when I questioned whether I was saying it the right way. But through it all, I kept reminding myself why I started. This book was meant to make a difference—and it’s finally here, ready for you to experience.
