सम्माननीय सरदारशहर वासियों ! जिले की सबसे बड़ी तहसील सरदारशहर की प्रमुखता से दो अहम आवश्यकताएं हैं पहली समुचित चिकित्सा व्यवस्था दूसरी रेल सेवा विस्तार । दोनों ही मांगों के लिए जनाग्रह काफी समय से जारी है। संभवतया हमारी पहली मांग शीघ्र ही पूरी हो जाए क्योंकि यहां उप जिला अस्पताल एवं ट्रॉमा सेंटर स्वीकृत हो चुके हैं। हमारी द्वितीय मांग भी बड़ी अहम है। सरदारशहर में अगर रेल सेवा का विस्तार होता है तो इस क्षेत्र के विकास को चार चांद लग जाएंगे , यहां रोजगार एवं व्यापार विस्तार के अवसर बढ़ेंगे । आज से 100 वर्ष पूर्व महाराजा गंगा सिंह जी द्वारा स्थापित रेल सेवा एक शताब्दी बाद भी एक इंच भी आगे नहीं बढ़ पाई यह वास्तव में दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण ही है। रेल सेवा हेतु स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों द्वारा प्रयास भी निरंतर जारी हैं पर शायद इन एकल प्रयासों से यह रेल विस्तार अगले 50 वर्ष भी न हो पाए इसके लिए जरूरी है एक गैर राजनैतिक जनआदोलन की । आग्रह बहुत हो चुका अब सत्याग्रह ही एक मात्र उपाय है। शहर के वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता , कर्मभूमि सेवा संस्थान के अध्यक्ष आदरणीय माणक चंद जी भाटी ने इस विशुद्ध गैर राजनैतिक आंदोलन हेतु आव्हान किया है, जन जन के समर्थन की अपेक्षा की है तो आइए हम सभी इनका साथ दें रेल सेवा विस्तार हेतु अलग अलग नहीं बल्कि समग्र सरदारशहर की एक सशक्त एवं बुलंद आवाज बने ।
