On Sunday, the livestream event for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean anime revealed the first promotional video, visual, staff, cast, character designs and that the series would premiere worldwide on Netflix in December 2021.

On Monday, Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that they will publish a one-shot special of Tite Kubo's Bleach manga in the upcoming 36th and 37th combined issues on August 10th. The one-shot will have 73 pages with one color page.

The chapter is being released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the manga. The manga began publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on 2001 and concluded on 2016.

BLEACH will be receiving a new special chapter of 73 pages to commemorate its 20th Anniversary in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #36/37. The announcement came from Shonen Jump Unofficial Twitter account. No further details about the chapter were given. The last chapter of bleach was released in 2016 which featured a 10 year time skip. The characters, timeline, story nothing was revealed.

On the 35th issue of Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine, Satoru Noda’s Golden Kamuy manga will enter the final arc. The chapter will release on Thursday, July 29.

Golden Kamuy went on hiatus in the 30th issue of the magazine on June 25 and it is returning on Thursday.

On Monday, Kyoto Animation revealed the second teaser trailer for Free The Final Stroke Part 1 anime film in the 2-part film project. The company also revealed the key visual and theme song information. OLDCODEX will perform the theme song for the first film.

Free! The Final Stroke film will be split into two parts. The first part will premiere in Japan on September 17, 2021, followed by the second part on April 22, 2022. The films are described as the “last chapter” of the series.

On Thursday, the official website for Shaman King anime announced that the episode 18th and 19th have been delayed due to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

1. 18th episode has been moved from July 29 to August 12
2. 19th episode has been moved from August 5 to August 19.

Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine’s official Twitter account revealed on Friday that Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga will return in the 35th issue, which will be released on August 2.

Jujutsu Kaisen manga went on hiatus to Akutami’s poor health on June 21. It was announced then that the hiatus will be for a month and Gege Akutami also stated that the illness is not serious and that he is still mentally healthy.

Hirohiko Araki revealed on Thursday through his Twitter account that his JoJolion (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8) manga will conclude in the next issue of Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in August.

JoJolion (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8) manga began in Ultra Jump in May 2011 and it consists of 26 volumes as of May 19, 2021.

On Tuesday, “Kimetsu TV News Announcement Special” live-stream event revealed the key visual and teaser trailer for the television anime Demon Slayer Season 2. The anime is titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku-hen (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc). The live-stream event was announced on July 6.

The special also revealed that the anime film Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train will return to 383 Japanese theatres for a limited run from July 22 to July 29. Film goers will receive Kyōjurō Rengoku’s belated birthday card.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy manga series has been cancelled due to author’s illness. The announcement came from the official Twitter account for Square Enix’s Manga Up! website on Wednesday. Author Kaya Haruka is undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer.

In a statement posted on Twitter, Kaya Haruka mentions that they were aware of the cancer since September 2019. Kaya Haruka remarked that while they regret that the manga had to end in this manner, they will cherish the time they spent working on it.

The WitcherCon liverstream announced on Friday that the Witcher franchise is getting a prequel animated feature film titled The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The film will revolve around Geralt’s mentor Vesemir. The film will release on August 23, 2021 worldwide on Netflix.

The livestream also revealed a teaser trailer and December 17, 2021, release date for Netflix’s The Witcher TV series season 2. The main cast will return for the new season.
