DDC Chairman Samba inaugurated Mega Programme at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba
Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba under the aegis of Directorate of Extension, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies Jammu organised Mega Programme under SCSP Project on March 09, 2023. The programme was conducted to distribute agriculture inputs to the SC farmers of district Samba under the dynamic leadership of Professor. N.A. Ganai, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, under the directions of Dr. S.K. Gupta Director Extension SKUAST-Jammu and direct supervision of Dr. Sanjay Khajuria, Chief Scientist & Head KVK Samba. The programme was attended by more than 150 farmers from different villages of district Samba.
At the outset, Prof. Sanjay Khajuria, Chief Scientist & Head KVK Samba, welcomed all the dignitaries as well as farmers/farm women of the district. He throws a detail light on the various initiatives of KVK Samba in increasing the livelihood security of the farming community in the district. He also disclosed that various new initiatives will also be taken very soon for the betterment of the society and farmers particularly women from rural area. He also highlighted the importance of millets and the new area to be covered under millets during this year in order to boost the millet production in the district.
On this occasion, Sh. Keshav Dutt Sharma, Chairman District Development Council Samba was the Chief Guest whereas Sh. Balwan Singh Vice-Chairman DDC Samba and Sh. Rajinder Singh, ADDC Samba were the Guest of Honours.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Keshav Dutt Sharma appreciated the efforts of KVK Samba led by Prof. Sanjay Khajuria and his team for conducting such a Mega event for the farmers from S.C. community of the district. He urged upon the farming community to remain in touch with the KVK Samba for any technical help in order to boost their agriculture economy.
Sh. Balwan Singh, Vice-Chairman DDC Samba applauded the contributions of KVK Samba and their efforts for the welfare of the farmers and highlighted that they are the ones who put your heart and soul into the soil to give life and food to all of us. Sh. Rajinder Singh, ADDC Samba higilited the achievements of the KVK Samba in uplifting the marginalised sections of the society. He assured every type of help to to KVK samba as well as to the farming community of the district. Sh. Pritam Chand, Sarpanch Samlah exhorted the farmers to avail the benefits of the various initiatives of the GOI for their economic upliftment. He advised them to remain in touch with scientific community of KVK samba.
During the programme, Stalls of various exhibits like bamboo handicrafts, seeds of different crops as well specimen of the vegetables and farm machinery was also displayed for the awareness of the farmers/farm women of the district. The technical bulletins/literature on novel farming practices were also distributed among the all the participants for their latest knowledge.
During the programme, Dr Vishal Sharma, HOD, Electronics Govt. MAM PG College Jammu and National Expert on Renewable Energy explained in detail about the various solar energy schemes in the agriculture sector for the benefits of the farming community. Dr. Neeraj Sharma, IQAC Coordinator, Govt. MAM PG College Jammu exhorted the farmers to adopt new technologies like hydroponics, leaf mould/compost to improve their income.
Dr. Saurav Gupta, Scientist (Entomology) delivered and expert lecture on natural farming and exhorted the farmers to adopt new technologies to improve their livelihood security.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Sharma Scientist (Animal Sciences) discussed about the scope of the dairy and poultry farming in the district. He emphasized the farmers to adopt both these for raising their socio- economic status. Dr. Shalini also delivered her lecture on the importance of soil testing as well as soil health card for the benefit of the farming community.

SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 16: Chief Secretary, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta today visited Samba district and took a comprehensive review of developmental scenario of the district in meeting held at Conference hall of DC office Complex here.

During the meeting, Dr. Mehta held a detailed review on the progress of ongoing development works across the district including Central Sponsored Schemes and other development projects.

While reviewing the MGNREGA sector of the district, Chief Secretary called upon the officers to intensify the pace of ongoing construction works and ensure the quality of work is maintained while executing these projects. He stressed upon the officers to saturate the works within the time frames for minimizing the liability.

Chief Secretary, while reviewing other schemes, asked the officers to understand the contours of these schemes for proper and effective implementation of these schemes om ground. “There should be no mismatch between governed and governing”, Dr. Mehta said.

With regard to Amrit Sarovar Mission, the Chief Secretary appreciated that 75 Ponds restoration work has been completed before deadline in district samba.

While reviewing the power sector, Chief Secretary directed the officers of Power development department to reduce A&T losses and ensure the response time towards power breakdowns is minimal.

Highlighting the need for regular review of developmental works , Dr. Mehta asked the Divisional Commissioner to convene regular monthly review meetings for regular performance appraisal of all the development

स्वतंत्रता दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर Study Buddy लाइब्रेरी द्वारा विजयपुर चंद्र काम्प्लेक्स (SBI Building) में तिरंगा फहराया गया व मिठाई बांटी गयी। बच्चों का उत्साह देखने योग्य था। तेज़ बारिश में ध्वजारोहण के बाद राष्ट्रगान गया। लाइब्रेरी की ओर जलपान का भी प्रबन्ध किया गया जिसके उपरांत बच्चों ने नाच गा कर आजादी का जश्न मनाया। लाइब्रेरी संचालक दीपक चौधरी ने बच्चों को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं दी।

बिलावर।

कठुआ बिलावर इलाके में मूसलाधार बारिश आफत लेकर आई नगर कमेटी के मोहल्ला प्याल मे एक कच्चे घर के पास पहाड़ी खिसक गई और कच्चा घर मलबे की चपेट में आ गया नतीजतन घर मे मौजूद एक भाई बहन की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। दोनों नाबालिगों की पहचान 5 वर्षीय शानू और 2 वर्षीय राजीना के रूप में हुई है। प्रशासन की टीम और पुलिस बल के साथ साथ स्थानीय लोगों ने कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद दोनों शवों को मलबे से बाहर निकाला

साम्बा जिला में डिजिटल मेलों की मेजबानी के साथ डिजिटल इंडिया सप्ताह की शुरुआत

विभाग विभिन्न ऑनलाइन सेवाओं के बारे में जनता को जागरूक करते हैं

साम्बा जिला प्रशासन साम्बा ने डीसी कार्यालय के सम्मेलन हॉल में स्थानीय लोगों की भारी भागीदारी के बीच डिजिटल सप्ताह 2022 का आयोजन किया।

मुख्य अतिथि, जिला विकास परिषद के अध्यक्ष, केशव दत्त शर्मा, उपाध्यक्ष डीडीसी बलवान सिंह, और बीडीसी अध्यक्ष, डीडीसी सदस्य और अन्य पीआरआई सदस्य उद्घाटन समारोह में शामिल हुए। 30 से अधिक विभागों ने उनके द्वारा प्रदान की जाने वाली विभिन्न ऑनलाइन सेवाओं को दर्शाते हुए अपने स्टॉल लगाए।

जिला प्रशासन सांबा ने राजस्व विभाग, पर्यटन, समाज कल्याण, आईसीडीएस, परिवहन विभाग, पीडीडी, जल शक्ति, पीडब्ल्यूडी, श्रम विभाग, आरडीडी, आवास और शहरी विकास, स्वास्थ्य, भूविज्ञान और खनन विभाग द्वारा प्रदान की गई 120 से अधिक ऑनलाइन सरकारी सेवाओं का प्रदर्शन किया। सहकारी समितियों, कृषि और विभिन्न अन्य।

लोगों को सहकारी समिति के पंजीकरण ऑनलाइन भरने, आजीविका योजनाओं के लिए आवेदन, ई-राशन कार्ड, अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति प्रमाण पत्र, फर्ड जारी करने, पीडब्ल्यूडी प्रमाण पत्र जैसी सेवाओं के बारे में शिक्षित किया गया। उन्हें ई-उन्नत, ई-कोश जैसे ऐप के बारे में भी जागरूक किया गया।
डिजिलॉकर, उमंग, आरएएस, ई-ऑफिस, Jk.mygov.in, एपीका मोबाइल एपका दफ्तर, एपीकी जमीन अपनी निगरानी, ​​और अन्य सेवाएं।

प्रखंड मुख्यालयों में 9 जगहों पर डिजिटल मेलों का भी आयोजन किया गया जहां लोगों की भारी भागीदारी के बीच इसी तरह की गतिविधियां आयोजित की गईं।

जल शक्ति विभाग और अन्य विभागों के अस्थाई कर्मचारियों को स्थाई करे सरकार : कुंडल।

विजयपुर : आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं पूर्व मंत्री यशपाल कुंडल ने विजयपुर में प्रेस वार्ता कर जल शक्ति विभाग और अन्य विभागो में काम कर रहे सभी अस्थाई कर्मचारियों को स्थाई करने की मांग की है। विजयपुर स्तिथ पार्टी कार्यालय में मीडिया को संबोधित करते हुए कुंडल ने भाजपा भाजपा पर वादाखिलाफी का आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि चुनावों के समय भाजपा सरकार ने जुमलो की बरसात कर दी थी। भाजपा नेताओं ने कहा था कि जिस पार्टी का विधायक हो, अगर उसी पार्टी का संसद हो, केंद्र में अगर उसी पार्टी की सरकार हो तो फिर अस्थाई रूप से काम कर रहे कर्मचारियों को स्थाई होने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता। लेकिन आज जम्मू कश्मीर में एलजी भी बीजेपी का है, लोकसभा सांसद भी बीजेपी का, लोकसभा में बीजेपी बहुमत, राज्यसभा में बहुमत, लेकिन उसके बावजूद भी जल शक्ति विभाग व अन्य विभागों में अस्थाई रूप से काम कर रहे कर्मचारियों को अपनी मांगों को मनवाने के लिए सड़कों पर प्रदर्शन करने पड़ रहे हैं। भाजपा सरकार की तरफ से उन पर डंडे बरसाए जा रहे हैं। कुंडल ने कहा कि पिछले 28 वर्षों से, उन्हें केवल वोट बैंक के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया गया है, चाहे वह भाजपा हो, पीडीपी, एनसी हो या फिर कांग्रेस हो। भाजपा 2014 के चुनावों में किए गए वादों को भूल चुकी है। कुंडल ने कहा कि अब लोग जागरूक हो चुके हैं। कर्मचारी भी जानते हैं कि उनको स्थाई रूप से सेवाएं सिर्फ आम आदमी पार्टी ही दे सकती है। कुंडल ने कहा कि आगमी विधानसभा चुनावों में अगर लोग आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनाते हैं, तो आम आदमी पार्टी जल शक्ति विभाग और अन्य विभागों में काम कर रहे अस्थाई कर्मचारियों को स्थाई करने के लिए पहले दिन से ही काम शुरू कर देगी।
