XISS, Ranchi, marked its 63rd Annual Convocation Ceremony on May 4th, 2024, graced by Chief Guest, Shri Rajeev Dubey, Chairman, Mahindra Group. The event honoured 247 graduates and the chief guest underscored the importance of embracing change and environmental consciousness.

During the ceremony, degrees were conferred upon graduates from programs including , , , and . Notably, top rank holders were recognized with medals and cash prizes, while others received institutional scholarships.

Mr Salil Lal, an alumnus from the Human Resource Management Programme, was awarded the prestigious "Distinguished Alumni Award."

The graduates bid farewell to XISS, as they depart equipped with knowledge, skills, and values to positively influence both society and the corporate landscape.

The students of the Programme of Financial Management organized a workshop on "Transitioning from Campus to Corporate." The key resource person of the workshop, “Mr Rajesh Derhgawen, conducted three stimulating sessions and provided a glimpse of what a career in management looks like from the inside. He laid out the game plan to navigate the challenges and handle the pressure to excel in a career.”

Mr Derhgawen, a senior HR Professional with rich and diverse experience, strongly emphasized in the very first session what it exactly takes to "Land your Dream Job", starting from the very first step, which is group discussions and interviews, stating what companies exactly look for and beyond.

Further, in the second session titled "From Backpack to Briefcase," he made everyone aware of the changes that a fresher needs to adapt to land his/her first job through the campus.

In the final session titled "Unleashing Your Potential," Mr Derhgawen explained what skills are required to maximize individual and team capabilities for success. He shared valuable tips on goal setting, continuous learning, and building a strong professional network. He emphasized the importance of resilience and adaptability in navigating career progression.
