Our work doesn't stop here. We guide our selected candidates through the necessary costume and make-up rehearsals and we assist the directors during filming…and of course, we make sure that our candidates are appropriately financially rewarded. Extras are the people in the background of a frame. They do not need to speak or have any special acting skills. However, the Extras make the frame “alive” and authentic. When we cast extras, we do not consider them as mere numbers. The mood, atmosphere, and the whole context of a scene can be hugely influenced by the people in the background. As one of our colleagues has stated: "casting extras is like painting with people." Although fun for most, we take what we do very seriously.
