J&K Pahari Joint Front [JKPJF] organized a signature campaign:

JKPJF, Movement for welfare of Paharis with an aim to project longest pending demand of "ST" status before state as well as central govt organized a signature campaign at Gujjar Mandi today wherein a large number of people including students, political students cutting across party lines actively participated and pledged to achieve the ultimate goal of ST status. The main attraction of event was when Pahari activists put down their signature with their "BLOOD" and took an oath to continue this struggle till it's logical result. This has happened after a long duration that Pahari leaders belonging to different political organizations collectively stood together at a common platform for the welfare of Paharis and lauded the efforts of team JKPJF for initiating such a great movement at a time when Paharis are feeling betrayed at the hands of successive governments. JKPJF appealed state & central govt to take serious note of their genuine demand. Speaking during the event Tazeem Dar, Sayed Shadab, Nadeem Mirza, Rafi Malik said that "Time has come for Paharis to rise above party, religious and regional lines and get united for the goal of reservation"
Chairman students wing JKPJF, Aquib Wani along with Abdul Rehman Khan, Shadab Ali Mir, Intkhab Malik, Irfan Malik, Zia Mirza, Shamrez Khan appreciated members of Gujjar-Bakerwal community who participated and supported the signature campaign and the demand of reservation to Pahari community. Parwaz Akram, Haroon Lone, Rajat Sharma & Arslan Malik further added that "Participation Har members of Gujjar community has sent a positive message which will bridge gaps between two communities".
Notable among other active participants, guests and supporters include Kuldeep Raj Gupta, MoS, Vibodh Gupta, MLC, Umer Arshad Malik Freelance Journalist, Farooq Inqlabi, Asif Bhat, Mushtaq Bhat, Shoket Shawl, Adv Qadar Khan, Amjid Khan, Shafqat Wani, Firdose Shawl, Haroon Lone, Ali Mirza, Nisar Rahi, Tosif Khan, Mustafa Khan, Umer Mirza, Abir Bhat, Sharukh Khan beside others.
