छत्तीसगढ़ में पुतरी पुतरा के विवाह का विशेष महत्व है ऐसा माना जाता है कि अक्ति के दिन किसी भी शुभ कार्य के लिए पंचांग देखने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है। धमतरी नगर में कोरोना स॑क्रमण एवं लाॉकडाउन के चलते बच्चों ने अपने घरों में गुड्डा गुड़ियो का विवाह रचाकर अक्षय तृतीया का त्यौहार मनाया गया । नगर के समाजसेवी गुड्डा रजक ने बताया कि किसान इसी दिन से ही अपनी खेती किसानी का कार्य प्रारंभ कर देते हैं ।फसल के लिए लग्न शुभ माना जाता है अक्षय तृतीया पर्व का इंतजार बच्चे सालभर से करते हैं अन्य त्यौहार की तरह यह पर्व भी बच्चों एवं बड़ों में प्रिय है इस दिन से किसान देवी देवताओं का पूजा अर्चना कर अपने खेतों में फसल लगाने की तैयारी करता है। बच्चों द्वारा अक्ति पर पुतरी पुतरा का विवाह रचाया जाता है। वहीं पोस्ट आफिस वार

Three people were killed in Bengaluru after violence erupted between police and protesters over a reported derogatory Facebook post about the Prophet Mohammad.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner has said that the accused has been arrested for posting derogatory posts and 110 people have been arrested for arson, stone-pelting, and assault on police
Violence broke out in the eastern pockets of Bengaluru on Tuesday night over an allegedly derogatory Facebook post by a relative of Congress MLA R Akhanda Srinivas Murthy, ANI reported. At least three people were killed during police firing and 60 personnel have sustained injuries, the Bengaluru police commissioner told NDTV.
Authorities have imposed Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which prohibits the gathering of four or more people at a place, in Bengaluru. Curfew has been imposed in DJ Halli, KG Halli and Kavalbyrasandra area, reported Times Now.
The Congress leader’s relative, identified as P Naveen, had allegedly made insulting remarks about Prophet Muhammad, The News Minute reported. However, he later posted that his account had been hacked and that he would file a complaint, according to News18. “For the fault of some miscreants, let us not fight among ourselves,” he said. “Whoever has done that, let police and government take action legally. I am also with you to see that whoever it is, is punished. Please maintain calm.”
Commissioner of Police Kamal Pant on Wednesday said Naveen has been arrested in connection with the allegedly derogatory post. Apart from him, another 110 people have been taken into custody for arson, stone pelting and assault on police, he tweeted.

Beirut, Lebanon (CNN)A massive explosion ripped through the Lebanese capital Beirut on Tuesday, injuring many people and blowing out windows in buildings across the city.
The source of the explosion was initially believed to be a major fire at a warehouse for firecrackers near the port in Beirut, the state-run National News Agency reported.
The blast sent up a huge mushroom cloud-like shockwave and damaged buildings miles from the port, including the headquarters of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri and CNN's bureau in downtown Beirut.
A red cloud hung over the city in the wake of the explosion as firefighting teams rushed to the scene to try to put out the fire. Large numbers of people were wounded in the blast, authorities said, and footage from the scene captured the injured staggering through streets in the capital.
The country's health minister ordered all hospitals in the area to prepare to receive injuries.
Homes as far as 10 kilometers away were damaged, according to witnesses. One Beirut resident who was several kilometers away from the site of the blast said her windows had been shattered by the explosion. "What I felt was that it was an earthquake," Rania Masri told CNN.
"The apartment shook horizontally and all of a sudden it felt like an explosion and the windows and doors burst open. The glass just broke. So many homes were damaged or destroyed."

At least 11 workers were killed and several others injured when a huge crane crashed on them at the Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), a central government undertaking, in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam on Saturday afternoon, the police said.
The accident happened when the workers were carrying out an inspection of the crane used to carry equipment for shipbuilding. The massive crane suddenly crumbled and crashed to the ground with a massive sound.
“Around 20 workers were said to be working on the inspection when the crane crashed. Some workers managed to run for safety, some others received injuries and at least 10 workers were crushed under the weight of the crane,” a police official said.
According to the latest reports, three bodies were retrieved from under the debris of the crane and the remaining were believed to be crushed. The police, with the help of shipyard staff, are involved in the rescue operations. Further details are awaited.
“The injured workers are being shifted to the local hospitals,” the police said.
RK Meena, Visakhapatnam’s police commissioner, rushed to the spot to inquire into the cause of the accident.
The crane was bought by HSL almost a decade ago and its operation was recently outsourced to a private agency.
