G.K PRODUCTION was essentially born out of frustration. No matter where you went, you got the same old music and the same tired experience. We were sick of it, so we created a night devoted to the music that we wanted to hear and move to. We wanted to play fresh and innovative music from the glob
al club scene because that’s we were into. It wasn’t about catering to the masses; it was about being on the cutting-edge of music, and delivering an experience that was fun and unique. In the beginning, G.K PRODUCTION nights only attracted crowds of fifty people. Some were our closest friends, the rest were dance music fans who were just as obsessed with the musical experience as we were -- people who were starved for tribal, electro and tech house. The word spread very quickly, and our friends grew rapidly in number. 50 turned to 100, then to 200, and 500. It continues to grow to this day. In fact, many clubs in PUNE have gradually changed the music they play. G.K PRODUCTION was first on the scene. We identified that thirst because it was our own and we were dying for it. The rest of PUNE took note of our success and co-opted it for its marketability.
