Our new program Ashtanayika 2.0 is a beautiful journey through the world of Indian classical music. 🌸
It explores the Ashtanayikas — eight heroines described in Sanskrit literature, each representing a different aspect of love. 💖

These heroines are not from our time, yet their emotions and stories remain eternal.
In this program, Saily Panse will narrate story based on the Ashtanayikas, while Meher Paralikar and Rageshree Vairagkar will present Bandishes on this theme.

🎶 RagaNXT proudly presents — Atul’s Musical Journey! 🎶

A versatile vocalist whose artistry beautifully blends Gwalior Gayaki, Natyasangeet, and Bhavsangeet traditions. 🌺

Since 1997, Atul has been under the profound guidance of Dr. Veena Sahasrabuddhe, mastering the nuances of Gwalior Gayaki, Laykari, Meend, and Taan Kriya. He also received invaluable training in Natyasangeet from legends Late Smt. Jaymalabai Shiledar and Smt. Keerti Shiledar, inheriting the rich essence of Balgandharva Gayaki. 🎭

Encouraged by the Shiledar family, Atul evolved into a performing actor-singer, portraying iconic roles in musical dramas like Sangeet Saubhadra and Sangeet Suvarnatula. He has also performed in Sanskrit adaptations of Sangeet Manapman and Sangeet Samshaykallol for Aakashwani, earning wide acclaim. 🌸

Further refining his musical expression, Atul trained in Bhavsangeet under Late Shri. Gajananrao Watve, and explored Thumri and Dadra under Smt. Ashwini Tilak and Smt. Shashikala Shirgopikar. He also learned from Shri. Hemant Pendse, a disciple of Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki. 🎤

🌸 Aparna – Talented Vocalist of the Young Generation 🌸

Aparna is a talented vocalist of the young generation. She started her journey in classical music with the blessings of Mrs. Pornima Talwalkar and was later trained in the Gwaliyar–Agra Gharana tradition by the legendary Padmabhushan Pt. C. R. Vyas.

Currently, she is receiving advanced training from the veteran harmonium maestro and musicologist Dr. Arawind Thatte and Shri Shreeram Shintre, one of the senior disciples of Pt. C. R. Vyas.

Aparna is endowed with a rich and mellifluous voice, making her adept in both light and classical music. Her sweet, seasoned, and pliable voice with effortless reach across all three octaves lends depth to her disciplined exposition of Raags, which are always full of aesthetic and emotive content.

🎶 Aparna is a graded artist of All India Radio and has been honoured with several awards and scholarships. She has performed extensively across India in various prestigious music concerts.

Alongside Khayal Gayaki, Aparna has a special interest in Tappa and Tarana Gayaki, inspired by Pt. Malini Rajurkar.

Abhijat Music Forum, in association with Suranjan Trust, recently hosted a mesmerizing three-day Residential Music Festival at the scenic Manashanti Center, Lonavala (8–10 August 2025).

For three unforgettable days, music lovers immersed themselves in the soulful world of Hindustani Classical Music, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature—far from the city’s hustle and bustle. 🌄✨

With almost 12 hours of live performances daily, it was a true celebration of music, devotion, and community spirit. 🎵💖
