In an astonishing display of skill and determination, Indian chess prodigy Gukesh D has etched his name in the annals of chess history. On Sunday, Gukesh emerged victorious in the prestigious Candidates tournament, securing not only the title of the youngest winner in its history but also earning the esteemed position as the youngest challenger to the World Championship crown.

Gukesh's remarkable journey to this historic moment has been nothing short of extraordinary. Born on May 29, 2006, in Chennai, his talent first garnered attention with a triumph at the Asian School Chess Championships in the Under-9 category back in 2015.

However, it was in 2018 that Gukesh truly made his mark on the chess world. He clinched the World Youth Chess Championships in the Under-12 category and seized an impressive five gold medals at the Asian Youth Chess Championships across various formats.

Last year, a police sub-inspector stationed in Koodankulam, Tamil Nadu, reportedly claimed to have witnessed a UFO sighting. According to a report by Chennai-based DT Next, UFO tracker Sabir Hussain noted that such mysterious sightings have been observed in regions surrounding nuclear facilities. In July 2023, a retired DGP asserted sighting unidentified objects along the Neelankarai-Mahabalipuram seacoast, areas adjacent to nuclear plants in Kalpakkam and Koodankulam. The report states that Hussain mentioned Sub-Inspector Kader's alleged sighting of UFOs, supported by two captured videos. This incident purportedly occurred just ten days after former DGP Prateep V Philip photographed a UFO on the Muttukadu seashore near Chennai.

Additionally, the report cites an engineering graduate named Syed, who claimed to have witnessed UFOs more than ten times in the Koodankulam area in August 2023. SI Syed Abdul Kader reportedly informed DT Next that he had been observing UFOs in Koodankulam since 2020, describing their zigzag movements before disappearance. Kader expressed confidence in his sightings, attributing his certainty to discussions with UFO tracker Sabir Hussain. Despite these claims, officials have yet to respond to Kader or Hussain's statements regarding recent sightings.

While reports of UFO sightings are relatively more common in the United States, recent revelations suggest similar incidents elsewhere. In February, it was disclosed that an ex-Pentagon investigator had briefed Congress privately on a 1964 incident where a UFO purportedly targeted an Atlas missile carrying a dummy nuclear warhead.
