In 2010, I started The Travelography in order to talk about the backpacking hacks, budget traveling, destinations, offbeat journey, nature, and wildlife across the world. I believe that every backpacker, traveler, tourist, wanderer, and Nomad should travel India at least once in life followed by the world because our Indian culture, tradition, weather conditions, environment, locals, mountains, ri
vers, lakes etc are incredible and cannot be found or experience anywhere. I met so many travelers in past journey and everyone has appreciated our India as one of the MUST VISIT NATION. I also want to travel almost every country in the world as comfortable as cheap itโs possible. In The Travelography, I share my experience, stories and some tips which I learned from past journeys. My motto is just to articulate that a traveler never needs money if he wants to travel his imagination, courage and zeal are enough to take him anywhere. I am Kamal Sharma, a traveler by heart, a photographer by passion & a storyteller by nature. I have been traveling and exploring my India for 7 years now. I have traveled about 25 states (73%) of India so far. I quit my job in 2017 as I wanted to satisfy my never ending wanderlust. By profession, I was a public relations practitioner and used to work for a PR agency in the capital. My goals in my job were just to learn new ways/techniques of digitalization, earning and traveling and I repeated the same as long as I worked there. My first journey took place in 2009 right after my secondary schooling which was inspired by a famous movie โINTO THE WILDโ. From that day I always try to explore new offbeat destinations where I can go and see local life and find them which is not available on Google map. I have the biggest fantasy of adapting and becoming a part of different people, culture, tradition, and society. I am not a foodie but I do not compromise when it comes to food and beverages. I want to dance madly from the city clubs to the highways. I want to free thyself from my control. I want to hike mountains, ride a bike and drive trucks. I want to travel by trains and cycle. I want to dive into the deep blue ocean and swim along with fishes. I want to jump from the sky and fly with the birds. I also want to make new friends everywhere in the world. I want to capture the people, things, and places I go. I want to live each second of my life by traveling on this planet. I want to see things every time with the different point of view. I want to look at a map and be able to remember how I was transformed by the places I have been to and the people I met and the things I have experienced.
