Our Story

Nedumangad is a city and a municipality in Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the headquarters of the 4 Taluks in Thiruvananthapuram district and is unique with no coastal belt and railway lines. It is located around 17 km to the north-east of Thiruvananthapuram city on the Thiruvananthapuram — Thenmala State Highway.Nearby Nedumangad town, is the Koyikkal Palace which is an excellent specimen of the traditional architecture of Kerala.Agasthyarkoodam, famous for its abundant ayurvedic herbs and medicinal plants is around 50 km from Nedumangad. About 32 km from Nedumangad enroute to Ponmudi lies the Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary which is a big attraction to wildlife enthusiasts and ornithologists. Nedumangad is well connected by road to Thiruvananthapuram and rest of the taluk.Buses is operated from the KSRTC Depot right in the heart of the town. Government College Nedumangad, Mohandas college of Engineering and National Training College for Women are the other landmarks. An agriculture wholesale market set up by the Agriculture Department with the assistance of the European Union is also situated at Nedumangad.
