Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Wednesday that India has contributed 'Buddha' to the world, symbolising peace and prosperity, rather than 'Yuddha' (war). He emphasised that this legacy of promoting peace positions India to strengthen its role in the 21st century.

“For thousands of years, we have been sharing our knowledge and expertise. We didn't give 'Yuddha' (war), we gave the world 'Buddha'. Monsoon has not been active in Maharashtra this year. Even in the second week of July, it has not rained as expected. Some parts of Mumbai and Konkan received some heavy rain in the last two days. मौसम विभाग (IMD) आज भी यूपी, राजस्थान, उत्तराखंड, हिमाचल प्रदेश बिहार, झारखंड और बंगाल में भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया है. इसके साथ ही उत्तराखंड में भू-स्खलन (Landslides) से बचकर रहने की जरूरत है.

देश में मॉनसून (monsoon) की बारिश (rainfall) से हाहाकार मचा हुआ है. नेपाल में भारी बारिश से बिहार के कई जिलों में बाढ़ जैसे हालात हैं. पश्चिम बंगाल में भी कुछ जिलों में हालात बेकाबू हैं. मौसम विभाग (IMD) ने आज भी कई राज्यों में संभलकर रहने की चेतावनी जारी की है. पूर्वी भारत और उत्तर भारत में हालात ज्यादा खराब हैं. पश्चिम बंगाल के जलपाईगुड़ी में बारिश से हाल बेहाल है. पुल के बराबर तक पहुंचा नदी का पानी पहुंच गया है. लोग जान जोखिम में डालकर पानी के बीच से आवाजाही करने को मजबूर हैं. यहां कभी भी हादसा हो सकता है. जलपाईगुड़ी में लगातार बारिश से कई नदियों का जलस्तर बढ़ गया है. खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रही हैं कई नदियां. खेत-खलिहान पानी में डूबे. लोग नाव का सहारा ले रहे हैं.

महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव सितंबर-अक्टूबर में होने की उम्मीद है। इससे पहले एकनाथ शिंदे सरकार की ओर से आम जनता के लिए घोषणाएं की गईं। महाराष्ट्र के उप मुख्यमंत्री और वित्त मंत्री अजित पवार ने विधानमंडल में बजट पेश किया। इस दौरान महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने मुंबई महानगर क्षेत्र में ईंधन पर मूल्य वर्धित कर (वैट) में शुक्रवार को कटौती की। इससे पेट्रोल 65 पैसे प्रति लीटर और डीजल 2.60 रुपये प्रति लीटर सस्ता हो जाएगा। महायुति सरकार ने पेट्रोल-डीजल की कीमतों में कटौती कर वाहन चालकों को राहत देने की कोशिश की है। दरअसल पूरे राज्य में वैट को एक समान बनाने के लिए ये कदम उठाए गए हैं।

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who holds the finance portfolio, made a slew of populist announcements while presenting the state Budget for 2024-25 ahead of assembly elections likely to be held in October.

1) Ajit Pawar announced a financial assistance scheme entailing a monthly allowance of ₹1,500 to eligible women in the age group of 21 to 60 years.

2) ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ will be implemented from July. The scheme will receive an annual budgetary allocation of ₹46,000 crore.

राज्य सरकार के अधिदेशित विभागों में कार्यरत कर्मचारियों के लिए हाल ही में एक बेहद महत्वपूर्ण अपडेट जारी किया गया है।

केरल विधानसभा में सर्वसम्मति से एक प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया है. केरल राज्य का नाम बदलने का फैसला लिया गया है. यह प्रस्ताव केंद्र सरकार को भेज दिया गया है और केंद्र सरकार से मंजूरी मिलने के बाद केरल राज्य को नए नाम से जाना जाएगा.

भारत की आजादी के 9 साल बाद यानी 1 नवंबर 1956 को केरल भाषा के आधार पर एक अलग राज्य के रूप में अस्तित्व में आया। अब करीब 68 साल बाद केरल सरकार ने भाषा के आधार पर ही राज्य का नाम बदलने का फैसला किया है. इसके लिए विधानसभा में एक प्रस्ताव लाया गया और इसे सर्वसम्मति से पारित कर दिया गया. प्रस्ताव को अब मंजूरी के लिए केंद्र के पास भेजा गया है और केंद्र की मंजूरी के बाद केरल राज्य को नए नाम से जाना जाएगा.

मध्य प्रदेश राज्य में सिंगरौली जिला स्थित है. यह जगह कोयला और बिजली उत्पादन के लिए जानी जाती है. सिंगरौली को भारत की ऊर्जा राजधानी भी कहते हैं. इतना सब कुछ होने के बावजूद यहां पर एक ऐसा आदिवासी गांव है , जो आजादी के इतने सालों बाद भी बुनियादी सुविधाओं से दूर है. इस गांव में न बिजली है, न पीने को साफ पानी और न ही कोई पक्की सड़क है.

यहां ग्रामीणों की जिंदगी मुश्किलों से भरी हुई है. लोगों को छोटी और आम सी सुविधाओं के लिए जूझना पड़ता है. बिजली न होने के कारण रात में अंधेरा रहता है.

पानी की समस्या
गांव में पीने के साफ पानी की बहुत बड़ी कमी है. यहां लोगों को दूर से चलकर पानी लाना पड़ता है. अगर पानी खत्म हो जाए तो आसपास के लोगों के बचे हुए पानी में ही गुजारा करना पड़ता है.

देश में राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन की सरकार बन गई है और 18वीं लोकसभा का पहला सत्र सोमवार से शुरू हो गया है। आज (25 जून) सम्मेलन का दूसरा दिन है. इस सम्मेलन की कार्यवाही अगले 10 दिनों तक चलेगी. लोकसभा के अंतरिम अध्यक्ष भर्तृहरि महताब कल से नवनिर्वाचित सांसदों को पद की शपथ दिला रहे हैं। देशभर में सांसद हिंदी के साथ अपनी मातृभाषा या अन्य भाषाओं में शपथ ले रहे हैं। इस बीच महाराष्ट्र में सभी सांसदों का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह पूरा हो चुका है और राज्य के ज्यादातर सांसदों ने मराठी भाषा में शपथ ली. हालांकि, राज्य के सात सांसदों ने हिंदी में और तीन सांसदों ने अंग्रेजी में शपथ ली है.

विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजर राज्य में महागठबंधन सरकार ने महिलाओं के लिए बड़ी घोषणा की है. मध्य प्रदेश सरकार की तर्ज पर महाराष्ट्र में भी महिलाओं को मासिक भुगतान किया जा रहा है. राज्य की 90-95 लाख महिलाओं को इसका लाभ मिलेगा.

लोकसभा चुनाव में हार के बाद राज्य की महायुति सरकार आगामी महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारी में जुट गई है. राज्य में विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजर महिलाओं का वोट और दिल जीतने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने राज्य की महिलाओं को एक अनोखा तोहफा दिया है। मध्य प्रदेश की तर्ज पर महाराष्ट्र में भी मुख्यमंत्री लाडली बहन योजना के तहत महिलाओं को हर महीने पैसा दिया जाएगा. मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने घोषणा की है कि महिलाओं को 12 से 15 सौ रुपये प्रति माह दिये जायेंगे.

A 23-year-old woman died after her car plunged into a valley while she was filming an Instagram reel in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Monday afternoon, said the police.

According to the police, Shweta Deepak Survase, a resident of Hanuman Nagar in Sambhajinagar, accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake while the Toyota Etios car was in reverse gear. The car sped backwards and fell into the valley. A video of the incident has been making the rounds on social media.

Upon receiving information about the accident, the police arrived at the scene. They retrieved the car from the valley and took the woman to a hospital where the doctors declared her dead.

The two leaders met on Friday towards the end of Prime Minister Modi's day-long visit to Apulia, southern Italy, during which he thanked the Italian Prime Minister for the invitation to attend the G7 Summit. This was his first foreign visit after assuming charge for a historic third term as the prime minister.
The five-second video was shared by Meloni on her X account on Saturday.
"Hello from the Melodi team," the 47-year-old Italian leader, the country's first woman prime minister, said in the video, in which Modi, 73, was seen laughing behind her.
Prime Minister Modi re-shared the video and wrote, "Long live India-Italy friendship!".

कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खर्गे ने शुक्रवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की आलोचना की। उन्होंने कहा कि एनडीए सरकार गलती से बनी है और भविष्य में यह सरकार कभी भी गिर सकती है। हाल ही में हुए लोकसभा चुनाव में भाजपा ने 240 सीटों पर जीत हासिल की। बहुमत का 272 का आंकड़ा वे छू नहीं सके। इसके लिए उन्हें एनडीए के सहयोगी दलों पर निर्भर रहना पड़ेगा।
