An Itanagar bound Air-Bus met with an accident here today at 28th mile(Tezu - Chongkham highway) around 5:30pm.
As per sources, the accident happened when the driver tried to steer the bus to safety from a collision with a scooty.
The attempt to avoid collision however failed causing one person Sukmon Tamang(rider on scooty) to succumbed to his injury from the collision.
No other serious injury have been reported so far, as per sources until the filing of this news report.
