Press Note of the Cabinet meeting held on 28.11.2022

The meeting of the Cabinet was held on 28th November, 2022 at 8 am in the Cabinet Hall of Tashiling Secretariat.

The meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister and attended by his Cabinet colleagues. Shri V.B Pathak, IAS, Chief Secretary to the Government of Sikkim was also present during the meeting.

Various important proposals submitted by the Departments were considered by the Cabinet and decisions taken after due discussion. Some of the important decisions/ directions taken by the Cabinet during the meeting are as under:

AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT
Approval and en- bloc sanction of Rs. 448 Lakhs for implementation of Rainfed Area Development Scheme during the current financial year.

Approval and sanction of Rs. 830.82 Lakhs for implementation of sub- mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM) for the year 2022- 23.

Administrative approval and financial sanction of Rs. 80 Lakhs for the implementation of Improvement of Agricultural Statistics Scheme (Establishment of Agency for Reporting Agriculture Statistics).

Financial sanction of Rs. 2,15,70,575/- for the implementation of Project Sikkim Agricultural Resources Management System (ARMS) under the revised National e- Governance Plan – Agriculture (NeGP-A).

Approval and sanction of Rs. 1577.777 Lakhs for the implementation of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna for the year, 2022-23.

ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & VETERINARY SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Approval and sanction of Rs. 21.52 Lakhs for implementation of Integrated Sample Survey for the estimation production of Major Livestock Produces Scheme.

Approval and sanction of Rs. 200 Lakhs for the implementation of Pig Production Incentive Scheme in the year 2022-23.

Approval of the Share Transfer Agreement Dated:14 October, 2022 signed between Government of Sikkim, M/S Kaira District Co- Operative Milk Producer’s Union Ltd, and M/S Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. to take over SDPPL (Sikkim Dairy Products Private Limited) by the Government of Sikkim, to liquidate it under Sikkim Registration of Companies Act, 1961 and to hand over the same to the Sikkim Co- Operative Milk Producer’s Union Ltd for its revival and operations along with approval and sanction of Rs. 1 Crore to release the same to Sikkim Co – Operative Milk Producer’s Union Ltd in order to implement the process of acquisition, liquidation and revival.

The meeting regarding celebration of Pang Lhab Sol-2022 was held under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Area MLA Shri.Tashi Thendup Bhutia wherein the formation of it's Core and sub-commitee was undertaken. After the long discussion, the Core committee was formed for PLCC-2022 as under

The meeting unanimously proposed the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) to be consented as the Chief Patron of this auspicious occasion.
The various sub committees were also formed for various activities & after the formation of the committee the house has decided that the program will commence from 30th August 2022.

The main events of the Pang Lhab Sol-2022 will be as follows ÷

2 Open Volleyball Tournament
3.Intra Sikkim Volleyball Tournament
4.Rural Sports
5.Traditional Cultural Programs
6.Traditional as well as Departmental Stalls
7.Exhibition
The meeting has decided the cash prize of Intra Sikkim Volleyball winner Rs 300000 with trophy and runner up Rs 200000 with trophy.

Cash prize for the Open Volleyball Tournament will be decided very shortly.

राबङ्ला,19 अगस्ट।

नाम्चि जिल्लाअन्तर्गत राबङ्ला मानीछोकोलिङ गुम्बाको प्राङ्गणमा आज बर्फुङ क्षेत्रका विधायक श्री टीटी भूटियाको अध्यक्षतामा पाङ्ल्बसोल पर्व २०२२ लाई राज्य स्तरमा भव्यताका साथ मनाउनका निम्ति एक समन्वय सभा सम्पन्न भयो।

आजको सभामा मूल विषयमा लामो छलफलपछि कोर कमिटी र उपसमिति गठन भएको थियो र समिति गठन भएपछि सभाले कार्यक्रम ३० अगस्टबाट सुरु गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ भने पाङ्ल्बसोलका मुख्य कार्यक्रम भनेको पाङत्येत छाम (योद्धा नृत्य) रहने छ भने 1.खुल्ला भलिबल प्रतियोगिता, 2.अन्तर राज्य सिक्किम भलिबल प्रतियोगिता, 3. ग्रामीण खेलकुद, 4. परम्परागत संस्कृति कार्यक्रम, 5. परम्परागत खाना पसलहरू र 6. प्रदर्शनी खेल, मुख्य आकर्षक कार्यक्रमहरु रहनेछ।

उक्त सभामा इन्टर सिक्किम भलिबल विजेतालाई ट्रफीसहित नगत पुरस्कार रु ३०००००/- र उपविजेताले रु २००००००/- ट्रफी सहित प्राप्त गर्ने प्रस्ताव पारित गरेका छन् भने खुल्ला भलिबल प्रतियोगिताको नगत पुरस्कार छिट्टै तय हुने भएको छ।

18 अगस्त को दिन राबङ्ला महकुमा कार्यलयको सभागृहमा राबङ्लाका जनता र राबङ्ला आले तिब्बती शरणार्थी बिच बर्फुङ क्षेत्रका विधायक टीटी भूटियाको अध्यक्षतामा सम्झौता गरि बिबादलाई समाधान गरिएका छ।
