New post after almost an eternity. We got a few more ribbon microphones in our locker. New for us but these put the V in Vintage.

Ultra, Ultra rare specimens that I might even go to the extent of saying these are the only units in India. I’d like to thank Cole Suddarth of . Without his excellent craftsmanship, these microphones wouldn’t exist in my locker. Cole has meticulously gone through all the inspections, cleaning, re-ribboning and has also performed transformer surgery on the Aiwa’s. Allowing the microphones to live like new in the 21st century.

Some new vintage 😁microphones have arrived at the studio.

The RCA 74-B, In an all black finish. It’s got a brand new ribbon and upgraded custom transformers by Stewart Tavener
It’s going to be great for recording guitars, amps, mono OH or as room microphones.

The Beyer M260, has also been serviced by Stewart and sports a RCA style Ribbon. This will be great on guitar cabinets, OH and many more sources. Looking forward to experimenting with this one.

Shure Model 330 should be a perfect pairing for our VOX AC30. Back in the day, Shure made some great ribbon microphones.

Another guitar cabinet was added to our inventory but not just any, this one is built by us in-house utilising 2x Celestion V30’s for a total of 120watts.

We’ve only got two things more to add, a pair of leather handles and the Subculture Badge.

These Micro Amps look so cool, they sound like hot trash but look ultra-cute.
