In 2018, Chrome Pictures made very serious inroads into Bollywood with its debut production 'Badhaai Ho', starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Directed by one of its founders, Amit Sharma. The movie went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2018 grossing a whopping 200 crores at the box office. Chrome Pictures latest offering, ‘Trial Period’, an OTT film has Genelia Deshmukh and Manav Kaul in leading roles. Directed by Aleya Sen, another founder of the company, the film has been enthralling viewers with its fresh and innovative narrative of a single mom searching for a “Father on Rent”. A lot of Chrome Pictures Ad films and campaigns have gone on to winning awards and accolades at many nationally and internationally renowned platforms such as the Cannes Film Festival, Spikes Asia, Dada Saheb Phalke Awards, Goa Film Festival to name a few. In recent times the production house managed to win at least 25 film awards for their debut feature film 'Badhaai Ho' including the prestigious National Award for the "Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment".
