मंदिर - मस्जिद

मंदिर में भीख मांग कर बुढ़िया,
मस्जिद में खाना खाती है.
कल कहा राधा ने मुझसे,
उसकी "चुरियां", सलमा लाती है.
शायर एक था माजीद,
राम भजन क्या गाता था!
सुन कर उसकी मीठी बोली,
आमिर सेवईयाँ छोड़ आता था.
एक था लेखक प्रेमचन्द,
ईदगाह की कहानी बताता था.
इससे ज्यादा क्या कहूँ?
की बात बड़ी ही सादी है.
बहुतों ने देखे मंदिर- मस्जिद,
इंसान कौन देख पाता था.

भूखे - नंगे

बहुत बेहाल हैं
मेरे लोग की अब
और ना सताओ
जायें भी तो कहाँ ये,
की इनका कोई भी कहाँ है?
दूसरों के रहमों - करम पे
ज़िन्दा हैं बेचारे!
इनकी औकात ही कहाँ है?

एक ओर!
तुम्हारे सर पर
चमचमाती रौशनी है
और उधर
उनकी झोपड़ी में
लालटेन की लौ!
भी धिमी हो गई है

तुम एक ओर!
नये स्वादिष्ट पकवान
बनाना सीखते हो
उनके पेट में
दो वक़्त की रोटी भी नहीं

इनकी आँखों में
अब उम्मीद भी
नहीं दिखती
की
शुक्र है
हुकुमरानों का...

फिर भी
जब वोट मंगाने आयेंगे
तो
मिल ही जयेगा
क्यूंकी
इनको
राजनीती कहाँ आती है?

ये तो कल भी ,
रोटी के लिए
ही
बीके थे जनाब!
इस बार भी
जीत तुम्हारी होगी

बनाओ मनसूबे!
और लगाओ बोली
ये तो भूखे - नंगे हैं...
तुम्हारी एक आवाज़
पे दौरे आयेंगे.

ज़िन्दगी वही बो कर आए थे

देखो! घरों की ओर
चल दिए हैं सभी मज़दूर, कारीगर,
चाय - खोमछे और तरकारी वाले.
अब थम सा जायेगा शहर.
कटाई, बुनाई, तुम्हारे रोज़मर्रा के काम
और बड़ी - बड़ी ईमारतों की दिवारें
सबकुछ अब भूल जाओ...

बंद रहने दो
शहर की सारी मशीनें
क्यूंकी! वे तो गाँव की ओर निकल पड़े
उन्हीं से हाथ पाओं चलते रहते थे
तुम्हारा कारोबार रौशन था...

ज़िन्दगी तो गाँव में ही बो के आए थे,
अपने एकड़-दो एकड़ ज़मीन में.
उनका सब वहीं तो था
ज्वार,चना,मक्की,गेहूँ
और उनके नातेदार...

चचेरे और ममेरे भाइयों से
गपशप!
चाय की चुस्की
ताश की बाज़ी
मोहल्ले के,
छोटे - मोटे झगड़े
सब वही छोड़ आए थे...

वो नानी, दादी का लाड
सगाई,शादियों की बैठक
सूखा, बाढ़ और भुख
सबकुछ वही छोड़ आए थे...

मरेंगे तो वहीं अब
जहां पर ज़िंदगी है.
यहाँ तो जिस्म ला कर
रूह वही छोड़ आए थे !

अब तुम आत्मनिर्भर बनो
क्यूंकी!
चल दिये सब,
मौत अगर आ गई
तो गले लगा लेंगे
और
जो तय कर लिया
सफ़र तो
वहीं जा कर रुकेंगे
जहां पर ज़िंदगी है !
क्यूंकी
ज़िन्दगी तो गाँव में ही बो कर आए थे...

Auditions are expected to take place in parts of Uttar Pradesh...
Requirement:
Male actors: 1)fair complexion, Good height, able to speak English & Hindi properly.
Age: 25-30
2) fair complexion, averagely good height, like any handsome boy next door.
Age: 25-30.
Female actor: 1) a desi girl- sweet and bubbly girl.One who appear to be a perfect home maker.
Age: 20-24.

Supporting actors & actresses
Age: 40s and 50s.

Shooting location: Parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Shooting days: 20_25 days.

Note: we want sensible and trained actors with some experience with tv, films, short films and known theatre groups cinematic sense.
