rtising as a Line Producer swiftly moving on to an executive Producer, but the design bug just would not be satisfied by the various roles and jobs that form the very basis of interest in Designing for the Various Forms of Media which I have been a part of, be it Commercials, Tv or Film. My first interaction with Production Design was in 2006 as the Production Designer on Feature Film ‘Aevdhe Se Abhaal’ – A Home in the Sky ( Marathi Feature Film ), directed by Bipin Nadkarni & Produced by Opticus Picture Company. The Film won several awards as Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay , Jury Awards at various festivals such as Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles 2008, Indian Panorama 2007, (IFFI Goa), Third eye Asian Film Festival, Mumbai, 6th Pune International Film Festival 2008 Indian Panorama Film Festival 2007 (IFFI Kerala),14th Kolkata film festival 2008. However , Advertising and Bollywood enthralled me and hence started my association with Shashank Tere, at “The Nail” with whom I went on to work on various Projects in both advertising as well has full length feature films. In 2012 , worked as the set decorator on - ‘Student of the Year’, with Production Designer – Amrita Singh Nakai Direcctor – Karan Johar, Producer – Dharma Productions & “Yeh Jawani hai Diwani’,Production Designer – Amrita Singh Nakai Director – Ayan Mukherjee
Through 2013- 14, I was Art Directing for Ads with production houses such as Equinox ( Ram Madhvani, Nitin ) , Moi Media, QED, Cutting Edge Pictures , Love & faith , Brownskins etc to name a few , Shashank asked me to collaborate as his Associate Designer on ‘Gori tere Pyaar Mein ( 2013 ) , directed by Puneet Malhota , Produced by Dharma Productions.
2014 – march 2015 was involved in production designing for ‘Fitoor’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor, produced by UTV with Shashank,
Whilst simultaneously working on Ad films independently with
Apostrophe Films, Love & Faith, Purple Vishnu and a few others.
2016 saw me take wings and Now I have my own Design Baby Set up and it goes by the name of Big Little Things. The philosophy is simple – It’s the little things that are big. Fitoor is the last feature release on my table and
