Director’s notes- “Madam Driver,” Devika, Hassan, and Sakeena inhabit an Indian cultural universe where religious and caste differences are irrelevant. They interact as fellow humans, reflecting an India where daily life isn’t dictated by religious backgrounds. Their normal interactions in the film showcase the inclusive India my generation grew up in.

Its is also a personal ode to all the women I’ve known and met. It’s a tribute to their strength, resilience, and the quiet battles they fight every day. 🚗
