*Requirements:*
• 1-3 years of compositing experience in the VFX and or film industry
• Composite shots for the show in a timely manner, Performs Blue/green screen extractions
• Seamless integration of live action, miniature and CGI sources
• Identifies problems with respect to timelines and delivery schedules
• Knowledge of keying, 3D integration, camera projection, colour correction and rotoscope
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D tracking and stabilization
• Experience with live action and photo-real CG projects

Our primary application platform is CentOS, with a substantial proportion of Mac OS X and Windows 7 machines. The selected candidate will join the team for supporting our VFX production team.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
*Linux / Unix Systems Administrator (Hardware / Software)
*Technical support and general trouble shooting for commercial and custom applications on all platforms
*Storage administration (cleanup, rsyncs etc)
*Infrastructure maintenance
*Firewall and switch configuration when needed
*General I.T. support and maintenance duties

*JOB REQUIREMENTS*
*Should have understanding of the Linux/windows/mac co-environment in a studio setting
*Expert knowledge with Linux installation and application deployment
*Mac OS and Windows application deployment and integration is a plus
*Knowledge of ripping video and general data wrangling
*Some experience in monitor resolution, monitor calibration, projector and amplifier.
*Experience working in an Animation / VFX production studio an asset
*Working at non-regular hours and overtime
*Above all, the ideal applicant should be a team player with a positive attitude

Working in a small team maintaining the entire IT infrastructure, you will need to be able to work well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks and be an excellent communicator, dealing with both technical and non-technical people.
