Limit screen time before bed and try a 5-minute breathing exercise instead. Why? Because blue light and screen activity stimulate the brain, keeping you in “awake” mode, while a quick breathing session calms the nervous system, setting the stage for deeper, more restorative sleep. 🌙
👉 To make this work even better, try 4-7-8 breathing:
1. Inhale through your nose for a count of 4.
2. Hold your breath for 7 counts.
3. Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 8.
Repeat this 3-4 times before bed to quiet the mind and activate your body’s natural relaxation response. You’ll feel the calm settle in, guiding you gently into sleep. 😌
