The food is absolutely delicious - from sushi to dimsum to noodles. They have a vast food menu - special Jain and Keto sections too.

You cannot miss going to Pandhal cafe which is inside this beautiful art gallery named David Hall at Fort Kochi.

It's a 17th century Dutch mansion with an art gallery in the entrance and a cozy cafe inside. The place is vibing with the best of 70's rock music in the background.

The cozy outdoor cafe has a live pizza counter on the side. It serves delicious food and drinks both vegan and non-vegan. It also has an entire section of yummy desserts.

One can spend hours on the beautiful streets of Jew Town in Kochi admiring those small artistic cafes and the uncountable shops selling breath taking art pieces.

One such shop we encountered while returning back home was

What was supposed to be a quick 5 mins glance in the store turned into 30 mins. The conversation led from admiring the art pieces, to understanding the effort behind the carving and painting them. It's admirable to see the kind of effort they put in creating something so beautiful.

📍Amba Bhavan Coffee Club, Matunga, Mumbai

Driving down to Matunga for a South Indian breakfast is quite the Mumbai weekend ritual for most of us. The only problem is deciding where to go when you are faced with so many great options.

Today we visited one of the oldest South Indian restaurant (since 1934) - Amba Bhavan whose legacy has been carried forward beautifully.

If you are craving for that perfect ghee podi idli, look no where - Amba Bhavan is one of the best outlet to experience the same. Their podi chutney is out of the world and the quantity is also great. The ghee on it makes it all the more delicious.

And if you are a garlic fan like me, I would also recommend trying their Rava Mysore or Mysore masala dosa. The chutney is spot on. Even though there are so many South Indian restaurants here, I have not had Mysore dosa as delicious as in Amba bhavan.
