TEMPLE OF WISDOM CELEBRATES ANNUAL FEST CUM FETE AMID HUGE FANFARE

The end of a year is an eventful time for schools and students. It is also the time when most schools organize the most important event of the year, The Annual Day. Celebrating the school's annual day provides the school with an opportunity to showcase its achievements. This function also gives students an opportunity to showcase their various talents and interact with their teachers in a more informal environment. From dance performances to plays and musical events to speeches, the school annual day is one day that is eagerly anticipated by children and parents alike, every year.

Temple of Wisdom, Soureni, one of the oldest school of Mirik celebrates Annual day cm fete today. School invited dozens of other schools from Mirik, Soureni, Kurseong, Naxalbari and other schools of Darjeeling. The main attraction of the event were the inter school competition on Solo Singing, Antakshari, Face Painting, Spell Bee, Dumb Charade, Rangoli followed by Dance Performance and Elocution. All the schools participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Regarding Fete there were different stalls which had different games like Hit the can, car race, feed the clown, blind bindi, lucky dip, etc where different exciting gifts were displayed and won by many.

The Participating Schools were
Kishore Memorial School,
Dreamland English School, Cambridge Model School, St.Anthony School, South Point Academy and
Seventh Day Advent .
