India celebrates “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, which commemorates 75 years of Independence. India shared a joyous moment of pride on 1st December 2022 with its 1.4 billion citizens when it was handed over the G20 presidency for 2023. The G20 Summit is essentially a meeting that convenes Finance Ministers, Central Bank Governors, and government-appointed emissaries called Sherpas and their deputies along with senior advisors to discuss economic and socio-political matters. It is also an occasion where the Head-of-States come together to negotiate on matters affecting the world. Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science Autonomous-Margao in collaboration with Yuvamanthan (New Delhi) is celebrating the 74th Republic day on 26th January 2023 by hosting the G-20 Model summit. Model G20 is a simulation created to mirror the G20, where youngsters interact like leaders from developed and emerging economies that comprise the Group of Twenty. It is aimed and designed for young learners, and professionals who wish to ace the art of public speaking and diplomacy.
