The ancient knowledge on astrology and application of astral remedies can be traced back to centuries. Jyothi means light or flame. Ish means God. Jyothish means lord of light. Vidhya means knowledge. Jyothish vidhya (Astrology) is the study of all aspects of planets and luminaries. This Vidhya is prevalent and applicable for benefit of humanity from time immemorial and its origin can be traced through the mythological and religious revelations.

Astrology helps as a guiding factor to select the most suitable choice. This choice decides the future course of our life.

Does luck or destiny play a role in victory or success? Is it all hard work? Is it all destiny?

Destiny is the situations that come to us, which are beyond our control. So situations are destiny, we didn't choose them they came to us.

But our responses to those situations are our choice. What we choose is our choice and when we choose it that will decide our future destiny.

Situations will remain what they are, but how you respond to those situations are completely and entirely your choice.

Using our feelings as a guide, we realize that we in every new situation, we refer to our feelings to lead us toward one choice or another; from these choices, we create a rich assortment of likes and dislikes. Our feelings are based on our ego.

The ego is an organizer. It makes a distinction between the inner world and the outer world, and it notes our perceptions from both. Then, by conceptualizing, labeling, and organizing those perceptions, it tries to make sense of them, and it files them in various contexts, where we can make considerations regarding their "value," potential threat or benefit, etc.

The ego is a mediator. It mediates between this inner world and the outer world of people and circumstances. It strives to resolve conflicts.

A well-defined ego is fulfilling and comfortable; a weak ego uses conceit, arrogance, and pomposity to try to compensate for its lack of fulfillment and comfort.

We have a situation that is destined. Now we have a choice to work hard, to cultivate that attitude.

That attitude is not destiny. That attitude is a choice and when we choose that attitude, hopefully victory will come your way. Even if it doesn't come right away, the seed which we have sown will certainly fructify. Either now, 10 years down the line, 20 years down the line or late. That is why persistence, is so much essential.

There are many uncertainties’ with every aspect to life. Because you don’t have courage to handle it you want to know what will happen tomorrow.

It's up to you to be lead by destiny or by your individual efforts. The more you believe in destiny, the more will destiny have a hand in your life. The more you think that your efforts will define your life and also act true to your thinking, the more successful you would be through your efforts.

An obstacle can be termed as hardship. Hardship in simple words means exertion of endurance, persistence and will power.

By overcoming obstacles, we develop character and character determines destiny. Character or mental attitude will make you or break you. Contribute your talents and abilities and success is assured.

Trying is nothing but struggle. The conditioned response in believing that once tried and failed, further efforts will yield same results is an obsession with the past and trying. We need to let go of our reasoning that says your past must be your present.

The force is outside me is the kind of conditional response to the circumstances of your life that puts responsibility on something outside you and becomes a handy excuse when your life is not going the way you would like it.

Blaming luck or some external invisible force that controls the universe is a habit of conditioning that leads to disempowerment and ultimately defeat.

We go to astrologers so that we can understand the karmic tendencies that are working in and against our favor. So that when the karma ripens - we don't feel angst against ourselves and the world and we can be at peace. Astrology is able to tap into karmic tendencies because it is a beautiful mirror to look oneself into.

There is no logic and science to believe astrology. It is practiced, just because human beings need some moral support and hope to come-up from problems of life.

Part of knowing how to think is; knowing how the laws of nature shape the world around us. Without that knowledge, without that capacity to think, you can easily become a victim of people who seek to take advantage of you.
