Tungnath Trek

We took a lil step for cleaning Chandrashila Tungnath in chopta. It is so sad that we are exploiting such beautiful place in uttarakhand.

Don't challenge people but challenge yourself. Everytime try something that you have not done before. This time I climbed to the world's highest Shiva temple i.e. Tungnath Mahadev in Uttrakhand and the peak above this temple is Chandershila Peak which is at the height of 13000ft. (4000m). I attempted this on 22 Feb 2020 with my friend and reached to the summit. There was a situation during the trek when weather conditions changed everything around us and turned into deep fog.
People were coming back without reaching to the summit. But somehow we both made a decision after staying there for a while and then we saw the sky is going to be clear and then we started to climb up.

It was becoming difficult because of heavy snow and the feet were not moving that much fast. But we went slowly and reached the top. It was really a great experience and adventure too.
