“Tanghulu” , sugar coated fruit with a crunchy and candied shell. It has origin in China but has gained popularity in South Korea. Thanks to social media, it’s also now becoming increasingly popular in the Philippines. I enjoyed every bite and the crackling sound of it! 🍭🍓🍓🍓🍓

AMRITSARI KULCHA

Kulcha is a leavened flat bread stuffed with vegetables and smashed potato with spices. It’s cooked in tandoor and brushed off with butter. Usually served with “Chole” (chickpeas) cooked in a spiced gravy. Pickled onions/carrots goes well with, it’s cooked in fresh tamarind juice with some light spices.
The pickled onion serves as the palate cleanser, so you can appreciate all the flavours in every bite of Kulcha and Chole.

This one is called “Amritsari” as the way of preparation is originating from Amritsar (a city in Punjab, India)

I love it and it’s a very healthy and flavourful vegetarian dish!

😋 Chicken 65 - marinated chicken in spices, yoghurt, egg and curry leaves then deep fried to perfection. yum!

It’s called “Chicken 65” because it was invented in the year 1965. This dish was first made and served in Hotel Buhari Chennai by Mr. A.M Buhari. Definitely a must visit place if you are on a culinary tour in India. 💕

Yazdani Bakery is an Irani cafe / Persian style bakery in Mumbai. It’s one of the best bakeries in the city serving customers since 1953. I got to try their famous “Bun Maska” and it was so so good and buttery! Their bun was so fresh and uniquely delicious, perfectly paired with Chai Masala. Hope you check out this bakery when you get a chance to visit Fort, Mumbai. 😋
