'The Pocket Journal'- The newest addition and cherished brainchild of this year's Editorial Board.

'Conversation with Blooming Past'- Making of the Alumnae Section.

One of the most emotional parts was documenting the friendship that we built on this journey, and we couldn't find a better way than coming together to compose a poem capturing the companionship.

The end cover is an ode to our abode, 'The Tagore Lounge' beautifully illustrated by a poem penned by the members.

BEHIND THE CURTAINS: Mirror mirror on the wall, who is behind it all? 

We can never go wrong with the credits. Here, we take an opportunity to acknowledge and thank our esteemed advisory faculty and all the members whose enthusiasm for creativity and novelty made this journal a reality.

Mirza Yusra Beg, the Chief Editor of 112th Chandbagh Chronicle and the Head of English Editorial Board 2019- 20, pursuing Bachelor Degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, is one such example. A maestro in English and Urdu, her vigilance and quick thinking is commendable. Having coordinated and managed about 52 events organised by leading labels like HCL, PNB, WHO, Ministry of Agriculture etc, her wit comes handy in tricky situations. She also has experience in the field of marketing, content writing and sales development. She has done various certificate courses and degree courses from various institutes all around India.

Creativity flowing in her veins, she is not only charming and beautiful but also stands as a true metaphor of boldness, hard work and dedication.

She is an amazing leader, knowing exactly how to deal with every individual on her team. Her sensitivity, sensibility, grace and qualities of a true head is the reason that Yusra is admired and trusted by all. This chronicle is surely in safe hands.

We wish her all the very best for her future endeavors.

Picture 1: Drishti Srivastava is the Creative Writing Head for the session 2019-20. A student of BA 3rd Year, she is a person with the fluidness in her to tackle every situation with instant solutions. Drishti is a beautiful, kind soul and amazing guide with a creative streak in her. Along with being a virtuous head, she is also an amazing poetess who expresses her thoughts in artistic lines. We wish her well for her future endeavors.

Picture 2: Featuring Priyansha Singh, this bubbly, intriguing Sophomore is the Alumna Segment Head of Editorial Board 2019-2020 and the Compiler of the 112th Chandbagh Chronicle. Be it her ever present smile, determination or her entrancing personality, Priyansha sure bestows the best. Her commendable quill pens down the bravest of words. Her command on English language and vocabulary is as peculiar as her chirpy personality. Her words and her ideas are a true attributes to the ed board 2019-20.

Being the sole graphic designer of the Editorial board 2019- 2020, Javeria is most reliable and exceptional at her job. She is pursuing her Master's degree in English and has people all around swooning over her innate accent which is infact a result of her stay abroad. Her work pieces, identical to her personality, not only intrigue but inspire too. She is an artist who makes drawings and paintings both digitally and traditionally. Her passion lies in the pursuit of representation and female empowerment through artwork and believes outspread of positive imagery through art.

1. 【Reporting Head】Adya: With brevity as her most prized possession, Adya is a BA first year student with a prime streak of writing. Working hand in hand with various Social organisations, multi tasking is truly her speciality.

2. Shivanjli : A sophomore all rounder, her quill skills bifurcate effortlessly in both Hindi and English.

3. Astha : She is the Ms.Motivator of Ed Board who never ever lets the Atmosphere get gloomy. Of all the adjectives used to describe her, reliable and loyal stand in the front of the line.

4. Khushi Gupta: A freshman year student skilled enormously in the field of fiction writing, holding the pen brings her utmost joy.

5. Khushi Hasan : Be it her jolly nature, beautiful smile or unconventional writing, Khushi sure has things her way.

6. Zainab : Extremely equipped with wealth of words, this young lady in her first year is immensely proclaimed in the fields of linguistics, artistry and music.

7. Nishi :Talented in field of scripting and compiling, she knows how to turn trails and rivers into a sea.

8. Aditi : Ms. 'Make it happen of Ed Board', expressive and overt, she is in fact the face of Ed Board when it comes to communication.

9. Aliya : Her peculiar linguistic choices make her one of a kind when it comes to writing.

With the roller coaster voyage of The Editorial Board 2018-19 having come to its end, it is time to let the sails down. Countless treasures of literary and artistic ingenuity were discovered, not to mention the memories made along the way.
A special thanks to all my Editorial Board members and most importantly my Heads: Ms. Saumya Tewari, Ms. Saumya Vishawakarma, Ms. Fariah Zaidi, Ms. Insiya Naqvi and Ms. Astha Negi without whom this magazine was not possible. It was fun curating this magazine with you all.
Unexpected of problems were smoothly tackled under the impeccable guidance of our veteran captain- Dr. J. Fernandez.
As I, Satakshi Srivastava (Chief Editor, Editorial Board, 2018-19) the second in command of my amazing crew, step down from this ship, I shall wilfully bid adieu and yield our place to the oncoming '112th Editorial Board' for the year 2019-20.
May Fortune be with them for more breathtaking discoveries.

The Past Decades were not less than a revolution for women in terms of empowerment and equality. Not only the women raised their voices against the unjust treatment of their gender, but also came forward to follow their passion, a privilege they have been deprived of for centuries.
So this year through the second part of our Special Segment: FEMALE FRONTIERS, we are going to celebrate twelve such Indian women and teams of women who shattered the glass ceiling and rose above the Indian patriarchy, conservatism and the prevailing ideology where women is treated as a second class citizen.
