The pictures broadcasted are of superior quality and carry crystal clear sound. Another big advantage is that the viewer can opt to watch programs of their choice with a wide range of channels and packages available. The package can be totally customized based on the choice of the viewer. DTH enables the customer to select and pay for only what he wants, unlike a single package provided by cable operators. There are only handful cable operators who have an organized set up and are large enough to be able to switch from analog signals. It is practically impossible for other cable operators to provide digital signals because of the cost involved. Even if they provide the Set Top Box, they cannot match the bandwidth by the organized sector.
