Britannia biscuit factory in Taratala closed, hundreds of workers unemployed
Kolkata, June 24, 2024: In yet another blow to Bengal's industry, Britannia has shut down its factory in Taratala. The factory had 122 permanent and 250 temporary workers. It produced 2,500 tonnes of biscuits per year.
