Therapeutic vomiting is induced by giving a combination of medicine in which Madanaphala(Randia dumetorum) has the top role; also Yashtimadhu kashaya(Glycyrrhiza glabra) can be used. Rehabilitative treatment or postprocedure is done after Pradhana Karma which includes a special diet schedule. Avoid over speech, exposure to sunlight, and take adequate rest.

Niruha Vasthi
As Vatha is the dosha that controls the majority of our body functions Vatha imbalances caused by food or environmental factors trigger malfunction. Vasthi( e***a) treatments are extremely effective in removing Vatha-based disorders of the system. There are two Vasthi treatments- Niruha Vasthi and Anuvasana Vasthi which are administered according to the patient's body condition and treatment requirement.
Niruha means to eliminate. Niruha vasti is a cleansing e***a. It differs from Anuvasana Vasthi primarily in its use of kashaya or special herbal decoction instead of medicated oil. For this reason, it is also called Kashaya Vasti. Within an hour of injection into the a**l cavity these detoxifying herbal mixes prompt the colon to excrete Vatha-related impurities accumulated over a period of time. An a**lysis of the dosha characteristics of the patient is extremely important while administrating Niruha Vasti. Dosage, strength, and the ingredients of the kashaya are decided according to the attributes and severity of the disease.
Anuvasana Vasthi
Anuvasana Vasthi is an e***a therapy using medicated oils. The colon is where Vata primarily resides and this procedure revitalizes the lower intestinal tract. Initially, intensive lower abdominal massages are given to the patient to loosen toxic waste materials and to prepare the body for the detox procedure.
A herbal oil mix is then administered via the a**l cavity. This stays in the colon and heals vitiated Vatha. Toxins are eventually excreted. The patient is advised to take lukewarm water throughout the treatment.
