নাট্যকার ব্যোমকেশ ভৌমিক বসেছেন একটা নাটক লিখতে কিন্তু একটা কাকের চিৎকারে কিছুতেই তিনি লেখাটা শেষ করতে পারছিলেন না। এক সময়ে কাকটা নাট্যকারের ঘরে ঢোকে এবং নাট্যকার কাকটাকে নাটকটা পড়ে শোনাতে থাকেন। কাকের সঙ্গে কথা বলতে বলতে নাট্যকার জানতে পারলেন, যাকে তিনি মহান এবং মহৎ মানুষ ভেবে নাটকটির নায়ক-চরিত্র হিসেবে গড়ে তুলেছেন, সে আসলে একটা চোর। এখানেই শেষ নয়। কাকটির সঙ্গে কথা বলে নাট্যকার চারপাশের আরও অনেক মানুষের আসল পরিচয় জানতে পারলেন। সকলেই যেন মুখোশ পরে অন্যদের ঠকিয়ে চলেছে। সেই দলে রয়েছেন তাঁর নিজের স্ত্রীও।

Rajeshwari Dutta was an Indian singer, considered one of the best-known exponents of the songs of Rabindranath Tagore.
She was amongst the few singers to earn appreciation from Rabindranath Tagore.. She was affiliated with music institutions in UK and the US in 1960s. The rich classical base of her voice flowed seamlessly in Tagore songs and was particularly effective in portraying the moods. The current song is one of her beautiful rendition of Tagore songs by her.
