From the Traveler’s (Agantuk) diary...
The Traveler (Agantuk) is a common man, born in 1986 in the City of Joy and brought up in a middle-class nuclear family by his parents with traditional values, staying in his parental house.
Since his childhood, he saw his mother’s care, love and affection as well as proper guidance of his father at the same time.
On the first day at School in 1993, he didn’t feel the meaning of the dress code, class room, black board etc. as if it tries to cage his childhood from the world he knows since his birth. He likes to play and spend time with his friends rather than doing both class and home works and for which, teachers used to scold all the time. After completing his Xth and XIIth Standard studies in 2004, he realised that he missed not the playground but the 40 minutes of the class room environment full of students (both serious and naughty) with teachers imparting knowledge and education.
His journey throughout the college (2004-2007) was going absolutely fantastic as he interacted with new mates talking about music, movies and lots of cultural events. In the very first year in 2004, a very close friend asked him to write in the College Social Magazine. He wrote “Chand ” for the first time and the same was published in the Magazine. “Tumi Kache Thakle ” and “Hridoyer Bhasa” were also published subsequently in the next two years. Not only that, he wrote some lines based on World’s biggest festival named “Sharadiya 2006” in a Puja Souvenir.
