Chitpur Rail Yard level crossing connecting Bagbazar and Kashipur was constructed as an alternative route to Tala Setu. Railgates sit on either side of the Chakrarail line. According to the administration, the main work of that level crossing was done by the railway, but the municipality did the work on both sides of the road.
The level crossing was originally built for the movement of goods vehicles.

Due to the closure of the Tala Bridge, heavy goods vehicles coming through BT Road had to speed up to enter the city for the past few months. As the level crossing was open, vehicles carrying heavy goods could pass through it. On one side of the level crossing is the Brajdayal Saha Road of Kashipur. At the other end is Pranath Mukherjee Road towards Bagbazar. Only cycle trains run between level crossings. The two lines of that yard have been completed for the time being before the Kashipur bridge for level crossing. A few railway depots had to be demolished to make the road passable.

The Karnataka government made a strong plea in the Supreme Court demanding the ban on hijab. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta appeared on behalf of the Karnataka government in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
He said, 'There are many countries in the world, which are constitutionally Islamic countries. There is also a protest against the hijab.'

A two-judge division bench of the apex court asked Tushar Mehta about which country he was talking about. In response, the Karnataka government said, 'There is a protest in Iran. So hijab is not essential. Just because it is mentioned in the Qur'an does not mean that it is essential. Maybe it falls within acceptable or standard behaviour.' Today, Tushar Mehta said that the Karnataka government's order to ban religious clothing in education is not specific to any religion or gender. It has been said that no religious dress can be worn. Not only the hijab, the ocher dress has also been banned in educational institutions. Dusmantha Davey countered the Karnataka government's question on behalf of the litigants. He said, 'It is by no means comprehensive. It is a deliberate attempt to marginalize minorities.
It is to be noted that the Karnataka government issued a directive on February 5 to ban the wearing of hijab in educational institutions. Since then, protests started on the issue of hijab in Serajj. Especially in Udupi district, schools and colleges turned into battlegrounds due to the protests. The Karnataka government had to close schools and colleges for several days due to the protests.

An appeal was filed in the Karnataka High Court to lift the ban. But the High Court upheld the ban. Several cases were challenged in the Supreme Court challenging this verdict. A young man from Patharpratima in South 24 Parganas appeared at the hospital with severe stomach pain on Wednesday. Seeing him, the doctors immediately decided to operate.

Besides, the doctors of the hospital said that the intestines of the young man were also damaged due to the deodorant bottle. In the future it will also have to be weaponized. Doctor Arindam Ghosh said that the deodorant bottle had entered through the a**s for some reason. Since then he was suffering from stomach pain. Tapas Ghosh, superintendent of the hospital, said, "It is a big deal for us that a patient from 24 Parganas has been cured." The young man spent 20 days with a bottle of deodorant on his stomach. As a result of which day by day his body has become weak. According to the doctors, his life could be in doubt if he stayed like that for much longer.
