The full dress rehearsal for the main programme of Independence Day Parade 2023 was held today in the district Kishtwar at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar amid all necessary arrangements.
Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sh. Sham Lal Sharma-JKAS accompanied by Addl. SP Kishtwar Mr. Rajinder Singh-JKPS hoisted the National flag, took salute from parade commander and contingents besides inspecting the parade of contingents.The parade was commanded by Dy.SP Vishal Sharma.
The 35 contingents that participated in the March past parade included Police, JKAP, CRPF,CISF, IRP, Forest Protection Force,NCC & Student contingents from schools of District Kishtwar.
Meanwhile, Artists, students performed colorful cultural programmes amid the national Patriotic Songs and local popular songs which enthralled the audience and invoked huge applause.
On this occasion SSP Kishtwar Sh.
